Persona is the company top startups use to hire people from all around

Founded by two Stanford University graduates, Persona works with the
world’s fastest-growing technology startups. Our clients are funded by

Jason was formerly the Global Head of Behavioral


Science for Walmart. Before that, he was Vice
President of Product at Handshake—the LinkedIn for
colleges. Upon graduating from Stanford University,
he has spent his whole career applying behavioral
science research and methods to technology and
business problems.

Nathan Lomeli
Chief Technology Officer

Nathan has spent over 10 years applying psychological


science in the industry. After completing his studies in
Stanford University, he went on to build products and
software solutions that incorporate cognitive science,
natural language processing, machine learning,
artificial intelligence, and psychometric science in
order to solve new problems.

Persona’s Internship Program
Persona’s internship program is designed for undergraduate students
who are self-starters, willing to learn, and are eager to significantly
contribute to the talent industry. It is a 2-5 month internship that aims
to provide real-world and meaningful experience, through its training
sessions, mentorships, and other activities.

Our Referral Program
If you’ve been invited for an interview with us, that means we are
impressed with your background, profile, and achievements – and
we’d love to get to know more people like you. That’s why we created
the Candidate Referral Program: to attract high quality talent and
reward our candidates for successful referrals. Do you know more
people in your network that are high-achieving, high potential
professionals like you are? If you think they could be interested in

up to $2,500 per successful referral!

How it works
You share your referral's contact details with us through the form we send you
via email after your interview. We will get in touch and invite them to join our
recruitment process.

You get a base reward of $1,000 for a successful referral, plus bonus incentives
of $500 for each of three qualities we look for in candidates (English
proficiency, academic prestige and achievements). If your referral checks all of
the boxes, the total reward possible is $2,500!

To participate in this program, your referral must not be currently in any of our
recruitment processes.

Q: What is it like to work for Persona?
A: Persona offers a collaborative work environment where team
members are given trust and accountability, ownership of projects,
and sufficient training to set them up for success.

Q: Is this a fully-remote role?


A: This role is 100% remote, and all of our assistants have the freedom
to work anywhere around the world.

Q: What is the work schedule for this role?


A: Your work schedule will be discussed and agreed upon during your
client matching process and depends on your client’s preference.
Since most of our clients are from the US, shifts will usually fall in the
EST or PST time zones. Once set, your schedule will be fixed and
stable, so you'll always be able to predict and plan around your
workday hours.

Q: Would I work with a team or alone?


A: Typically, our assistants report directly to an executive or the
founder of the company, but that is not to say they don't work with a
team! In fact, we've found that many of them find highly collaborative
environments within the client company. We also strive to always
base our matching decisions on the candidates' preferred working
style.

Q: How long is the entire recruitment process?


A: The entire process takes about two weeks, more or less. This is to
uphold and maintain a certain standard to meet our client's
expectations. Given this, we allow applicants to move at their own
pace to a certain extent by having flexible schedules when it comes to
interviews and exams.

Q: What is the salary range for this role?


A: There is no set salary range – we will always offer you a rate that is
at or above market in whichever location you are.

Q: Do you train and mentor your new hires?
A: Yes – we provide paid training and mentorship to all new hires.
You'll also have access to an ever expanding library of training
materials on different topics, tools and software. What’s best: all of
this will be available to you throughout your time in Persona and not
only your onboarding period.

Q: Are there any specific tools I need to be familiar with?


A: While we do not require knowledge on specific tools, our assistants
should be comfortable with learning new technologies and software.
They should be able to quickly pick up and learn the programs that
modern companies use to run their businesses. We also provide
training and mentoring to our assistants to get them up to speed on
whatever it is they need to learn.

Q: Will the company provide equipment?


A: Unfortunately, we are not able to provide work-related assets at
this point. On a positive note, we offer a monthly tech allowance as
part of the benefits. You may use it to buy additional work-related
equipment or subscriptions for any tools or softwares that you'll need
for work. If needed, upon internal evaluation, you may also be eligible
for receiving equipment acquisition support, such as zero interest
loans.

Q: Are there opportunities for growth and development?


A: We strive to create a long-term working relationship between you
and your assigned client. As a result, there will be plenty of growth
opportunities as you continue developing your skills with the client's
guidance and our support.
