and general personal growth. In this study, students of Special Program in the Arts at Alangalang

INTRODUCTION
All levels of schooling place a premium on communication abilities. Without the
students communication skills, students might face some problems that they don't want to say,
they might get anxious, probably will not be more active on classroom, can't participate well in
class and can't even try to speak what they want to say or what the students going through.
Students can notice how their communication skills improved than before where they also
improved on their academic performance. Students can tell how are they going to live without
having good communication to other and can have a great time and interactions with their friends
and other students. Whenever the students have problems, it will be easy for them to say what
they really feel deep inside to the people they trust the most. So in order to have a trustworthy
friends, students must improve their communication skills where they may even manage their
quality between doing their studies and leisure time. In this way, students will immediately bring

We cannot just use communication with students, we can also use our skills in
communicating to our family. Because every students get courage only from their families
whenever they feel down and through communication, students will even more close to each
members of their family where they can have a great time and bonding time each other. After
every hour that students spend on school, students can not just waste their free time but instead
they can use it to get along with their family. Students can treasure and value every moments
they have in their family bond where can get love and support to each other. Without having
communication with family, it is impossible to be success in academic because it is very
important to communicate with family.
Academic success depends on how to effectively direct communication from the top
down to the bottom with accurate information that can be helpful to each student. This process is
used to transmit the necessary trustworthy and defensible information that is helpful for each
student's additional knowledge. This refers to highly structured communication techniques that
are typically only employed in educational environments. Academic communication can also
involve the language and grammatical structures that are appropriate to employ, the manner in
which students should present their thoughts, and the attitude that should be utilized to rein in
any habitual communication behaviors.

effective tone and language for the intended audience. There is a growing interest in

learning competencies. The purpose of this literature review is to explore the conceptualizations,
definitions, and understandings in the research literature related to complex communication. A

Moreover, Students in similar years of study experienced and valued similar aspects of
supportive communication. Training a whole class in supportive communication may develop
positive shared values among the students and a climate that encourages mutual support. Courses
that provide ongoing activities and opportunities for students to develop their skills in
communicating support may produce more successful students. (Mock, Andrew; Hodis,

New Harbinger classic, Messages, this will teach you the necessary skills — such as

assessed the attitudes of both students and teachers. This will discover ways to tap into the full
conversational potential that lays dormant within you, adding a degree of nuance, and see the
result as friendships grow. This can bring them to their future success by increasing their
communication abilities. Students might even discover that untapped worth in the form of fresh
perspectives, creative ideas, and concepts that result from everyday conversations. The book
"Noli Me Tangere" by Dr. Jose Rizal is one piece of literature that is well-known and well-
known. The persona and the incident reflect the standard of existence during the period of
Spanish colonialism of our nation. It is important that information be shared in a variety of ways
so that people can comprehend the situation they are in. A person can be greatly affected by the
use of basic language that they can relate to. The lesson that this imparts to Grade 10 students is
that effective communication is crucial in everyday life. By actively listening to the messages
that are communicated from the source, you may strengthen your analytical skills and decide
how to approach any subject matter.
According to the reviewed literature, communication helps GRADE 10 Students in
Alangalang National High School in different aspects, like on how can they understand better.
communication is better because if something is chaotic they can ask for help unlike in module
or online classes they barely understand a lesson because of internet distraction. Also, they can
do more through communication having friends, discovering their selves, less mental illness and
being able to explore things that they cannot do without communication. Nonetheless, everyone
have different way of learning, there's possibility that someone prefers learning without

RECOMMENDATION
A person's ability to effectively communicate is essential in all part of life, including
academic endeavors. The value of effective communication skills is highlighted in the Special
Program in the Arts (SPA) at Alangalang National High School. This essay examines the value
of communication abilities and how they affect SPA students' academic progress. In the SPA
program, effective communication skills are the cornerstone of academic achievement. Students
are better able to understand complicated artistic concepts, participate in meaningful
conversations, and convey their views clearly through excellent verbal and nonverbal
communication. These abilities are necessary for understanding instructions, working
cooperatively with peers, and effectively interacting with teachers and mentors. This improved
pupils' learning opportunities as well. The learning opportunities for SPA students are improved
by strong communication abilities. Students who study the arts frequently have to express their
ideas, perceptions, and feelings regarding their work. They can assess and criticise both their
own work and that of their colleagues since they have strong communication abilities. SPA
students who express themselves with confidence can get helpful criticism and advance as artists.
In order to network and take advantage of opportunities in the arts, communication skills are
essential. Students in SPA can connect with experts in the industry, look for mentorship, and use
materials that advance their artistic development through effective communication. Additionally,
effective advocacy for their work and artistic goals is made possible by good communication
skills, providing doors to scholarships, exhibitions, and other worthwhile chances. At Alangalang
National High School, SPA students' academic achievement depends heavily on their
communication abilities. Students can lay a firm foundation for their artistic growth, improve
their educational experiences, and succeed in group projects by developing good communication
skills. Students who are able to communicate effectively are also more equipped to exhibit their
work with assurance, connect with industry leaders, and take advantage of chances that advance
their development as artists. To give its pupils the tools they need for academic success and
future success in the arts, Alangalang National High School should give special attention to the
development of communication skills within the SPA curriculum.
