The bone plate was empty. He called out to his mother: - Mum Mum Why dont we have any bone? Mother dog answered: - Why are you asking me? It was your turn to buy bone yesterday. Then Todi remembered that he didnt go to buy bone because he hadnt felt like it. He gathered up his books and notebooks quickly and put them in his bag. Then he left to go to school by taking his lunch box as well. As he was about to come to school, the bell rang and all the students went to their classes. Todi could hardly make it in time. The first lesson was Maths. The teacher started writing the homeworks that he had given on the blackboard. And Todi opened his bag to take his notebook out. But no way His notebook was not in the bag! Then he remembered that he had forgotten his notebook in the kitchen. He told to himself: - What will I do now? If the teacher finds it out, it will be over for me! It was obvious that today would be like this from the morning! In the meantime, the teacher called out to him: - Todi! His classmate, oti laughed and joked around with him. Todi felt even more sorry after that. He told to himself: - Today is really a bad day! One or two hours later, it was the lunch break. Todi was sitting in the garden with a sad face. His classmate, Mayki came to his side. He put his hands on Todis shoulder. - Dont be so upset. Todi said to him: How can I do it? Its been a horrible day since this morning and I think its going to be the same. Mayki hang his head and said: - You are so wrong, Todi. Todi complained to him: - No, Im not wrong. I broke my alarm clock this morning. Then I fell down. I came to school without having my breakfast. And now I got a zero point. Today is such a bad day! Mayki said to him: - Dont think like that. Come on, lets eat our lunch. Have you brought anything to eat? Todi made a sour face and opened his lunch box by groaning: - Yes, Ive brought. But my mom only put sandwich! But I love bone, not sandwich! Look at that, its going bad as before. Mayki laughed and said: But my mom put bone in my lunch box and I love sandwich. How about changing our lunch boxes? They changed their lunch boxes and started eating their lunch. Soon after, their friend, oti came to their side. She apologized to Todi: - Im so sorry for making fun of you at the lesson. I acted thoughtlessly. Todi smiled at her: - Dont mention it. Come on, lets eat our lunch together.

oti was so happy to see that Todi forgave her: - My mom put some sweets as well. I will bring it now so we can eat together. Then she left to go to the class. Mayki laughed and said to Todi: - Look, today is not such a bad day. oti came back with the lunch box on his hand. The three friends ate their lunch joyfully. After a while, the bell rang. They went to the class. Todi thought about the zero mark that he had got during the lesson. When the class was over, the last bell rang. All the students were preparing their bags to go home. The teacher wanted Todi to wait: - Todi, dont go anywhere! I have something to talk to you. Everybody left and only Todi was in the class. The teacher said to him: - Todi, you are a hard-working student and you always do your homework in time. I will erase the zero mark that I have given to you but in return, you will show me your homework tomorrow, okay? Todi was so happy to hear that and left the class by saying: - Im so happy now! I will never forget to bring my notebook again! His friend, Mayki was waiting for him to come in front of the school. He asked him with anxiety: - What happened, Todi? Did the teacher punish you? Todi laughed and told all the story to him Mayki was so happy to hear it and said to Todi: - Did you see it, Todi? Today is such a beautiful day! Todi shook his head and took Maykis arm: - Today is really a beautiful day, my friend! Come on, lets eat an ice-cream together! The two friends enjoyed this beautiful day to their hearts content.
