Guidelines for Sihawa Lake View Restaurant (SLV)

To ensure an enjoyable and efficient dining experience for everyone, please adhere to the following
guidelines:
 The services of the SLV are open from 12:00 noon to 11:30 PM (last order) on a payment
basis. The restaurant will be closed by 12.00 a.m.
 The restaurant is open to the students/ faculty/staff and family members and authorised
visitors of the university.
 The University reserves the right to book the services of the restaurant for university events
for specific timings
 Outside food/beverages are not allowed
 Consumption of Alcoholic beverages and smoking are strictly prohibited on campus
premises
 Patrons are required to clear their tables after eating by disposing of waste in designated
bins
 Moving furniture from designated spaces without the permission of the service provider
& taking cutleries outside the designated dining spaces is strictly prohibited.
 Keep conversation levels respectful to fellow diners to maintain a pleasant environment for
everyone.
 Not to use the space only for Internet access without orders and to stay for prolonged
discussions, depriving seating of fellow diners to be avoided.
 For any special events/ occasions, the faculty/students and staff book Seven days in
advance by contacting the restaurant manager, for which negotiated special rates will apply.
 It is expected from everyone to treat all SLV staff members and fellow diners with courtesy
and respect.
 Damaging restaurant property or engaging in disruptive behaviour will result in
disciplinary action as per university policy.
 Students are strongly advised not to feed or pet dogs inside or near the premises of SLV.
 The students are advised to follow the University's code of conduct and help the university
administration for a smooth dining experience at the SLV facilities for the benefit of the
HNLU community.
 The entire premises is under CCTV surveillance for safety & security reasons.
