Key Concepts: 1. Gender equality means that men and women have equal rights, both have the same means and opportunities.
2. Gender stereotyping is a fixed idea of what or who we think
people are and how they should behave based on their sex or gender.
3. Gender does not determine your ability to do a job.
4. Both men and women are equally capable of doing the same job, if they are given the right skills, knowledge and qualification.

In this activity, the learners will be divided into groups. Make sure that each group has boys and girls. They will brainstorm and decide whether certain jobs are applicable to men only, women only or both. Let them briefly discuss the reasons for their answers.
