BARANGAY RESOLUTION N-01-2023
TITLE: A RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE APPOINTMENT OF BARANGAY
SECRETARY EFFECTIVE 01 DECEMBER 2023 OF BARANGAY NIOG, CITY OF BACOOR,
CAVITE:
WHEREAS, by the power vested in me by the Republic Act. No.7160 (otherwise known as the Local
Government Code of 1991) Section 394/395, I am given the authority to appoint/re-organize or choose
whoever will be the best suitable as Barangay Secretary.
WHEREAS, the newly elected Sangguniang Barangay on regular session unanimously approved the
appointment of IVY D. ASTORGA as the new Barangay Secretary effective December 1,2023 up to the
term of office in 2025.
WHEREAS, IVY D. ASTORGA is best qualified considering she has all the qualifications and none
of the disqualifications.
NOWTHEREFORE, on motion of KAGAWAD DENNIS V. REYES duly seconded by
KAGAWAD DINDO R. LEYNES … BE IT….
RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to appoint IVY D. ASTORGA as Barangay
Secretary up to end of our term on December 2025.

RESOLVED FURTHER AS IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be
furnished the Office of the City Mayor, the Department of Interior and local Government, Bacoor City,
the Accounting Department and other Government agencies concern for their information.
I hereby certify to the correctness of the foregoing resolution which was duly adopted by the
SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY last 01 December 2023.
