Abstract :The problem that has aroused in us research in the field of renewable
energies and its role in achieving sustainable development lies in increasing dependence
on fossil energy that does not allow such development to exist due to its harmful
emissions and its non-sustainability, and therefore it is necessary to search for renewable
and clean sources in order to achieve sustainable development.
From here we discussed in the research: the concept of renewable energy (touching on
various concepts and inferring the definition)- the characteristics of renewable energies -
the importance of renewable energies - the areas of exploitation of renewable energies
(domestic, commercial, industrial, agricultural, military) Incentives and impediments to
the use of renewable energy - the potential of renewable energies worldwide - the reality
of global trends in investing in renewable energy (in the Emirates, Germany) - the reality
of renewable energies in Algeria (organizational and institutional structures, available
possibilities) - findings and recommendations.
