1. Introduction

The Bill Management System represents a holistic and sophisticated resolution engineered to
optimize the administration of clientele data, merchandise inventory, and billing procedures
for enterprises. In the contemporary, rapid-paced milieu, businesses encounter formidable
obstacles in upholding precise client particulars, orchestrating product records, and
effectuating bill generation with utmost efficacy. Our state-of-the-art system tackles these

hurdles adeptly, furnishing easily navigable modules for adept customer record administration,
meticulous product record organization, and expedited bill generation processes.

This document presents a comprehensive overview of our collaborative efforts on the project
detailed in Assignment 1. Our collective endeavor involved the development of the Bill
management system encompassing three distinct modules: "Product Management,"
"Customer Management," "Bill Management," and "Bill Generation Management."

In a concerted distribution of responsibilities, the project was allocated among the team
members as follows:

Qurat ul Ain undertook the task of handling "Product Management."

Neha Shafat worked on the implementation of Login and Home Page

Muhammad Bilal spearheaded the domain of "Customer Management."

Saqib Javed deftly managed both "Bill Generation Management" and "Examination
Management."

To facilitate seamless collaboration, we leveraged the renowned code-sharing and version-


control service, "GitHub”.. The application's coding was executed on Netbeans.

2. Version Control and Commits

The collaborative efforts in our billing management system project involved a systematic
division of tasks among team members, granting them the autonomy to work independently.
This segregation is evident through the diverse array of commits, totaling twelve in number,
each representing the unique contributions made by different users to the entire system. To
facilitate a comprehensive understanding of these contributions, detailed explanations are
provided in the accompanying screenshots.

The above commits demonstrate the work done by the members of the group The code
uploaded by each individual to the created repository further exemplifies their valuable
contributions to the project.

3. Output

3.1 Home Page Section

The home page of our app features a comprehensive and user-friendly interface,
encompassing essential sections dedicated to Customer Management, Items, and Billing
functionalities. This thoughtfully designed home page serves as a gateway to efficiently
navigate and access the core components of our billing management system.

The Customer Management section facilitates the maintenance of customer records, ensuring
accurate and up-to-date information is readily available. Users can effortlessly add, edit, or
delete customer details and fostering smooth customer interaction.

In the Items section, users have access to a well-structured inventory management system.
Here, they can effortlessly manage product records, update stock information, and make
necessary modifications to ensure an optimized and up-to-date inventory.

The Billing functionality forms the heart of our app, providing an intuitive platform to
generate and manage invoices efficiently. Users can swiftly create, edit, and review bills,
while the system automatically calculates totals and relevant taxes, streamlining the billing
process and enhancing accuracy.
