The submission is in the form of a completed individual portfolio folder, including


Project development plan, Project Log Book, Performance review and the tasks set out in
the Assignment Brief. Each student should submit an individual portfolio folder.

Part 1: You are required to make a report use of headings, bullet points and subsections
as appropriate. Graphs, bar charts, Pie charts can be used with appropriate tools and
techniques to analyse the gathering data. Log book is required to complete your
analytical work.

Part 2 & 3: You are required to make a report use of headings, bullet points and
subsections as appropriate. The recommended word limit is 300-500 words, although
you will not have penalised for exceeding the total work limit. All work must be
supported with research and referenced using the Harvard referencing system. You are
required to complete the log book to reflect the practice.

You are working as an employee in Project Management Office at Victoria University


College. Your project manager asks you to do a research-based project on the
environment impact of digital transformation. The project main theme is

The potential of refurbishing, repairing and reusing digital devices rather than
replacing.

Your head of department asks to do small-scale research about the e-waste and evaluate
on reusing the products impact on environment.

Your project must include:

1. Conduct small-scale research for your project by applying qualitative and


quantitative research methods to gather required data and information. You need
to examine secondary sources to collect relevant secondary data and information.
Learner needs to analyse data and information from primary and secondary
sources to generate knowledge.
2. Learner needs to discuss the features and operational areas of a businesses in an
identified sector and also the role of stakeholders and their impact on the success
of a business. Learners have to analyse the challenges to the success of a
business in an identified sector.
3. Learners need to Interpret findings to generate knowledge on how the research
theme supports business requirements in the identified sector.
