DLP Science 8 Wk1D1 3rd QTR

The daily lesson plan is for an 8th grade science class and focuses on introducing the topic of the particles and nature of matter. The objectives are for students to demonstrate an understanding of the properties of solids, liquids, and gases based on their particulate nature and to be able to draw matter according to its particles. To introduce the topic, the teacher will play a video clip about matter and lead a discussion on related concepts. Students will then be asked to relate matter to real life examples. Assessment data on student understanding will be collected and remediation provided as needed.
