I. COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course tackle on acquisition of handball referee hand signal. Whereby
relevant rules
and violation are integrated in a sport setting. Each group should aware and
learn different violation and execute hand signal use in Handball.

II. LEARNING OUTCOME


1. Identify and execute foul and violation in Handball
2. Demonstrate foul hand signal of handball
3. Demonstrate violation hand signal
4. Execute proper hand signal for foul and violation call

III. General instructional Guidelines

1. All activity must be passed on-time, late passer should be allowed to


submit their activity on the next distribution plus minus 20 points of each
activity.
2. Activity should not be accepted if 2 weeks delayed on the date given, 1 week
delayed is a last chance.
3. All reason is not accepted unless there is a sufficient evidence/proof.
4. Failure to comply in our module activity 3 times is considered dropped for
this subject.
5. Cheating of your classmate’s activity or copying the others work should not
be accepted, except group activity.
6. Do not share your answer to others or to your classmates.

IV.DISCUSSION

Good day Learners!


This module tackle about the referee hand signal use in handball, at this time
you may know/ familiarize each hand signal to be use when playing handball.
At this juncture, you have an additional knowledge about handball, and explore
with enjoyment for this sport.
REFEREE HAND SIGNAL

Entering the goal area Illegal dribble

Too many steps or holding the ball Restraining, holding or pushing

for more than 3 seconds


Hitting Offensive foul

Throw in direction Goal keeper throw


Free throw direction Keep distance in 3 meters

Passive play Goal


Warning (yellow), Disqualification (red), Information written report (blue)

Suspension in 2 minutes Time out


Permission for two persons (who are entitled to participate) to enter the
court during time-out

Forewarning signal for passive play
