As you move around the campus, observations forms are provided for you to document
your observations. It is advised that you read the entire worksheet before proceeding to the

1. Wall Displays The wall displays are located all over the classroom there are
displays on the front, back, left side, and the right side of the
classroom but the displays are neatly arranged. The displays are
nice to look at and makes the classroom a lot more engaging for
the Students. The displays makes the classroom child friendly
and some displays can also give knowledge to students like a
quote.
2. Teacher’s Table The teachers table is located in the front of the classroom
sometimes it is in the middle but some classrooms put it on the
side. There are classrooms that has two teachers table the first
one is located on the front and the other one is located on the
back. The teachers table is used by the teacher to store his or her
things and if he or she is giving a quiz to his or her student the
teacher can sit on the table and monitor his or her students.
3. Learner’s Desk The learners desks are located in the middle of the classroom and
desks must have a one set apart distance from each other so the
students will have room to move. The desks are arranged in the
middle so the students can be monitored properly by the teachers.
The number of the students desk will depend how much student
that classroom will have and the desks must be comfortable for
the students to sit on the desk mustn’t be too small or too large.
4. Blackboard The black board is located in the front of the classroom because
it is where the students must stare and focus their attention. It is
called a black board but sometimes its color is not black and if
the classroom is for elementary students the blackboard has a lot
of lines. The lines purpose is to indicate where the students must
right the small and big letter the lines also mimic the lines on the
students paper.
5. Learning Materials/ The visual aids are sometimes allover the classroom just like the
Visual Aids displays its purpose is to give the students information like what
subjects are this and sometimes about other things like anti
bullying law etc. Most visual aids are colorful so it can caught
the attention of the students.
6. Comfort Room Most classrooms today have their own comfort room and it is
located on the back of the classroom. It is located in the back of
the classroom because if a student has to use the comfort room he
or she won’t disturb his or her classmates. Most classrooms now
REFLECT
1. How do the school campus and the classroom in particular impact the learning of the
students going to school? What are your conclusions?
The school can impact the students learning because if the students get bored in a school
they won’t go to school. That’s the reason why teachers must be created in order for the
classrooms to become more attractive under students will be inspired more to go to
school.
2. Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed? Why? Why not?
Yes I want to teach in the school in environment that I just observed because I will
choose to teach in any school as long as I have my students . Even if the school
environment I just observed has its flaws like it doesn't have all the facilities and it luck
some of the tools that it needs to teach the students i will choose to teach in that school
environment because I believe that the school doesn't need all the facilities and tools it
just needs a creative teacher that can teach the students effectively regardless of the
challenges that he or she faces.
OBSERVE
As you look around and examine board displays, use the observation guide and forms
provided for you to document your observations.
An Observation Guide for BOARD DISPLAYS
1. Go around the school and examine the board displays. How many board displays do you
see?
2. Where are the display boards found? Are they in places where target viewers can see
them?
3. What are the displays about? What key messages do they convey? What images and colors
do you see? How are the pieces of information and images arranged?
4. What materials were used in making the displays? Are borders used?
5. Do you notice some errors? (Misspelled words, grammar inconsistencies and the like?
7. Think about what got your attention. Why did it get your attention?
Based on the questions on the observation guide, write your observation report:
As I go around the school I noticed two display boards in the front of the school; if you enter
the school the first thing you will see are the two display board. When you enter the school the
first thing that you will definitely see is announcement (if there is an announcement) because
the display board are large and can easily catch your attention. Most of the time the displays on
the display board are about important announcements like there is an upcoming event but there
are also other information that you can get in the display board like who is the ssg president
and etc. The displays on the display board are colorful; the reason why it is colorful is that it is
easier for the student to notice it if the displays are colorful. The information are arranged
based on how important they are if it is an announcement the text are bold and can clearly be
seen from afar. Most of the materials that is used in the display are cartolina, bond paper, neon
paper, colored paper, and etc. They also used borders to emphasize the information that is
being displayed. When I tried reading the information that is being displayed I didn’t see any
misspelled words or sentences that has a grammatical error. All the information that I read was
clear and precise.

1. What particular skills that a teacher should have to be able to come up with effective board displays?
A teacher must know how to make the board attractive so it can get that engine of the students. The
teacher must also know how to communicate with his or her students so the teacher will know what is
insult things he or she must put on the board.
2. Which of the skills you still need to develop and how can you improve or acquire it?
The skills that i think i must include is my speaking skills because i'm still not growing in speaking in
english and i sometimes make a grammatical mistake. I must improve my speaking skills because I
believe that a great teacher can’t effectively can’t transfer his knowledge to students if the teacher is
having a hard time communicating with his or her students.

REFLECT
Which of the seven types of curriculum in the school setting is easy to find? Why?
The thought curriculum is the easiest way to find because it is what teachers constantly use
everyday.
Which is difficult to observe? Why?
The most difficult curriculum to observe is the assessed curriculum because you must always
think of a new way to properly assess students knowledge about the topics you have just
discussed.
Are these all found in the school setting? How do curricula relate to one another?
Yes all of this curriculum is found in the school settings and in this curriculum co-relate with
each other because they need each other in order for the school to be fruitful in teaching their
students.

Experienced teachers claim that they “can teach their classes even without a lesson plan”.
How do you react to this? Provide reasons for your answer.
Maybe experienced teachers can know how to teach without the need of a lesson plan because of
the repetition of their teachings. But for me a lesson plan is important because it can help a
teacher have a guide and a script for that teachers lesson plan can also help the officials of
education monitor the teachers way of teaching without them physically attending the session.

1. What lessons have you learned in developing or writing a lesson plan?
I learned that you have to properly choose your actions in teaching your students because your
actions will define how much your students will learn on that particular day. I learned that a
lesson plan is important in teaching because it helps guide the teacher on what he or she must do
in order for his or her students to learn.
2. What value will it give to the teacher if the three components are aligned?
The teachers job will become easier because if the values are aligned the teachers will have an
easy job following his or her planned lesson.
