EXCECUTIVE SUMMARY
This is a new business plan, POWER ZONE FITNESS CENTER, by Gakonyo Mary which will
be launched on the Donholm Estate and expand to other areas in Nairobi. The goal of the
POWER ZONE Fitness Center is to provide a wide array of exercise and fitness routines which
include body weight training ,gymnastics, aerobic classes, physical therapy and nutrition
counseling for all males and females . In order to provide customers with affordable service,
POWER ZONE FITNESS CENTER will use qualified trainers who are certified as personal
trainers, who are physically fit and have personal experience and service delivery experience.
They will have a personal background that will enable them to assist customers and achieve their
fitness goals. The fitness training center will be located at Greenspan mall and will be open from
8:00 AM in the morning to 9:00 PM in the evening.
By providing an affordable, flexible alternative to expensive, out-of-the-box facilities, we expect
to attract more health-conscious people, people who focus on exercise and citizens who are
willing to work hard in their lives. In order to reach customers, we will use limited advertising,
especially using social media and verbal communication methods.
The POWER ZONE FITNESS CENTER will differ not only in its approach to the use of
qualified trainers who will also provide personal training to customers who choose such a
service. The POWER ZONE FITNESS CENTER will be co-organized between Ms. Mary
Gakonyo and Mr. Louis Paul. This means that the POWER ZONE FITNESS CENTER will be a

answer strongly agree or agree that they will use personal training resources if they were
affordable to Donholm Residents. Agreeing on what is affordable for Donholm residents is

Financial Needs
It is estimated that in order to open a business, the Adam Fitness Center will need Two million
shillings (2,000,000) of the original amount. Gakonyo Mary and Louis Paul are the owners and
will provide everything needed to get started.
Financial assumptions.
The POWER ZONE FITNESS CENTER estimates that in its first business week it can start with
only five sessions. At the end of the month, this number will accumulate to 50 per month. Next
month, the POWER ZONE FITNESS CENTER hopes to conduct 100 personal training sessions.
Obviously, the cost of starting a new business is much higher than the income the business earns
in the first month.
However, in the second month, operating costs will be low enough to end at a profit of KES
30,000. Therefore, by the end of the 3rd month, the POWER ZONE FITNESS CENTER hopes
to recover the deficit collected in the first month. Some forecasts with a 30% reduction in
demand are still profitable by the end of the second month, however it will take longer to pay for
