representing more than 375 of the best hotels, resorts and spas in the world. Headquartered
in New York, the company maintains a network of 24 offices in major cities around the world.

• FOUNDED IN 1928 BY A GROUP OF INFLUENTIAL EUROPEAN HOTELIERS WITH A BROAD VISION FOR
THE FUTURE, THE COMPANY STARTED WITH 38 INITIAL MEMBERS. WITH OUR EIGHT LONG DECADES
OF COMMITMENT TO PROVIDING UNFORGETTABLE AND AUTHENTIC TRAVEL EXPERIENCES, LHW
SELECTS ONLY HOTELS THAT MEET THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF QUALITY AND DISTINCTION.

• WITH 38 INITIAL MEMBERS, INCLUDING THE HOTEL NEGRESCO IN NICE, THE MENA HOUSE IN CAIRO
AND THE KING DAVID HOTEL IN JERUSALEM, THE ORGANIZATION WAS INITIALLY KNOWN AS "THE
LUXURY HOTELS OF EUROPE AND EGYPT".

• RECOGNIZING THE IMPORTANCE OF ESTABLISHING DIRECT CONTACT WITH TRAVELERS AND TRAVEL
AGENCIES IN THE NORTH AMERICAN MARKET, THE FOUNDERS OPENED AN OFFICE IN NEW YORK,
CALLING THIS SATELLITE OPERATION "HOTEL REPRESENTATIVE, INC." OR HRI.

STANDARDS
• Hotels that wish to be part of the leading hotels of the world must apply to be admitted. to be
considered an application, a hotel must belong to the category of luxury and meet the most demanding
standards in terms of accommodation, service, gastronomy, behavior of its employees and facilities; in
short, all aspects that affect the comfort of the guest, at their convenience and mood. inspection
reports, based on hundreds of rigorous specific assessments, are subsequently submitted to the
executive committee, whose members vote for acceptance or rejection. only the most distinguished
properties in the world are admitted to the leading hotels of the world.

• To offer the maximum value to its member hotels, as well as an incomparable hospitality to its
distinguished clients.

• The company evaluates and accepts its members.

• Luxury hospitality is valued.

REQUIREMENTS
• The requirements to become a member of the leading hotels of the world stipulate that a hotel must
meet the highest standards of excellence in all areas that affect guest comfort, convenience and
well-being. after successfully completing a rigorous application and inspection process, only the most
prominent hotels are accepted. To join:
• Belonging to the luxury category
• Comply with standards:
• Accommodation
• Service
• Gastronomy
• Behavior of your employees, facilities
• It will be inspected again 2 times every 3 years to make sure it continues to meet the standards.

SERVICES:
It promotes and promotes publicity and propaganda services to tourists who enjoy luxury
facilities or who expect a tourist treatment according to the offered conditions of quality,
efficiency and hygiene.

areas and beaches with which it could count. The natural areas must be highly cared for
and cleaned in order to offer a pleasant and clean environment that delights the vision of an
image according to the prestige of the place.
