Camping is a creational activity in which
participants take up temporary
residence in the outdoors. Camping trip
presents you with an opportunity to
reconnect with loved ones. Camping is
beneficial for children and their families
because it can help strengthen bonds
between family members — brothers
and sisters, parents and children and the
list goes on. You will all return home
feeling much stronger as a group. When
you’re camping, you get a chance to get
in touch with nature, encounter wildlife and see the stars away from the bright lights of the big
city. There’s nothing quite like it. Make sure you and your family have the chance to connect
with nature when you explore the many benefits of camping. I would like to go camping with
my friends in Palawan and spend the entire day having fun and watch the stars a t night with
them to get away with problems and stress from school and house.

Activity 3
From your observation, whether first hand or from other sources (news, Documentary shows,
narrated by friends, etc.), which among leave no trace seven principles is usually not being
observed in the Philippines? Explain your answer. the You may cut and post a news article or a
personal picture to back up your explanation.
PROPER WASTE DISPOSAL
From my observation, whether I go to
different places, I always see people
disposing waste improperly. People leave
the area without being considerate of the
impacts that they leave behind, which
will undoubtedly affect other people,
water and wildlife. I believe that proper
waste disposal should always be
observed when leaving the area. Many
locals of the area have been complaining
of waste disposal that are now be seen in
news and documentaries which is a sign
that it has become a nuance to the
nature and outdoor enthusiasts.
Overlooked trash is litter, and litter is not only ugly—it can also be deadly. Plastic bags, cigarette
butts, fishing line and other trash can be harmful to our environment when not properly
disposed of. As more and more people enjoy parks and protected areas every year, packing out
human waste is likely to become a more common practice to ensure long-term sustainability of
our shared lands. “Pack it in, Pack it out” is a familiar mantra to seasoned wildland visitors. Any
user of recreation lands has a responsibility to clean up before he or she leaves. Inspect your
campsite and rest areas for trash or spilled foods. Pack out all trash and garbage. We should be
informing people proactively that we need to separate waste properly and have an excellent
system to control this to recycle the trash thrown in a dumpsite where all the scraps of cities
are stored. Garbage does not belong in forests, beaches, or summits. Garbage should be
disposed of in cities. None of us want to go through a long commute to visit a place festering
with trash.
