Activity 1: Work Ethics on the Go!

A. If you start your Work Immersion or even Culminating Activity, you will be told your
exact schedule and time you are in the workplace and time when you are to be out. How
will you keep good record of attendance considering that attendance matters?

➢ I will keep a good record by applying the ethics of punctuality that you are always
15 minutes early and to be consistent in working your best quality of your work to
keep a good record in my attendance.

B. Two scenarios below happen in the real world. How would you apply your Work
Ethics in the following situations?

1. There might be times your boss allows you to work from home. Having the permission
to work from home, you just took some office supplies, anyway you are using it for work
from home.

➢ Being a reliable and resourceful worker is important when you are doing an
immersion since even though I am in my home, I can still finish the business that
my boss told me to do and my office supplies can be reserved for the next morning
and be prepare so that even though without the supervision of your boss, you will
get the job done.

2. There are companies or other workplaces that allows trainees like Work Immersion
students to just finish the work for the day and they can go home. That scenario happens
to you, so you can go home already as per instruction but you see other trainees like you
are working.

➢ Working with your co- workers is important, so that is why teamwork and
cooperation is important when you are working because it will not only be
beneficiary to them, but also to you as a individual. You will also get along with
others because they will know you as a worker with a good ethical principles.
Activity 2: Work Ethics in Me

Directions: Among the different work ethics we have studied, which among them do you
often practice at home, in school, or anywhere? In five sentences, write instances you
practiced it.

1. The most ethical thing that I study is Attitude, my parents thought me that where ever I
go, I should have a good attitude towards other people.

2. By calling them by their respective authority like sir/ma’am

3. Having a good relationship with my colleague.

4. Do not have any personal threats to my co- workers or classmates

5. Helping them in their needs if they want something that will ease their minds. These
are the practices of attitude that I do where ever I go and I will always carry it in the
future.
