A DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN MATHEMATICS -3

I. OBJECTIVES: at the end of the lesson the pupils should be able to:
a. identify the properties of multiplication in single digit multiplication
b. solve problem involving doubling; and
c. recall and use multiplication facts for 2,5,9 tables including recognizing odd and even
number.

How to Multiply by a One- Digit Number


 This post will teach you how to multiply any
number by a one digit number
 The numbers that are multiplied are called
FACTORS and the answer is called the
PRODUCT.
 The FACTORS are written on top of each
other
 We start by multiplying 3*1=3
 Now ,we multiply 3*6=18
 The last steps is to multiply 3*5=15
