l.   ATTENDANCE AND ATTENDANCE MAKE.UP
     1.2      Minimum Percentage of Attendance:
     1.2.1. B.A.   LL.B.   - In order to be allowed to appear in the End semester Examination,
     a student shall attend at leasl T0o/o ofthe total classes held in the course concemed during
     the semester. Attendance for the purpose of 70% limit means coming to the class well
     prepared with the assignments.
     Provided that if a student for any exceptional reason fails to attend 70%o of the classes
     held in any subject, the vice-chancellor, may allow such student to appear in the
     examination. only if he/she has attended 65% of classes held in that subject and he/she
     has obtained 70oZ attendance as a whole.
     1.2.2.   LL.M,- In order to be eligible to appear in the End semester Examination,           a
     student shali be required to attend at leasl T5Vo of the total classes held in each subject to
     be taught during thl concemed semester. Attendance for the purpose of 75% limit means
     coming to the class well prepared with the assignments.
     1.3       Closure of Attendance:
     Attendance shall be closed T (seven) days before the first day of End Semester
     Examination to enable Examination Department to publish list of 'Not Eligible" students
     due to shortage of attendance for appearing in End-Semester Examination'
     1,4        Status of Attendance
     The status     attendance shall be declared by 5th of every academic month by the

     examination department. The faculty members shall submit the status to the examination
     department by 2nd of every academic.month. Any objection pertaining to the notified
     attendance shall be communicated, in writing, to the examination department within two
     days ofpublication, failing which the notified aftendance shall be deemed as final.
     Provided that ifa student remains absent for any authorized reasons, he/she shall submit
     the objection within 3 (three) days afterjoining the University.
     L5        Discollegiate:
     1.5.1. B.A. LL.B (Hons) - A Student failing to attend 70%o     of the total classes held shall
     not be allowed to appear in the End Semester Examination.      Any further relaxation in this
     rule shall be governed by the Bar Council oflndia Rules.

     2.2.      Mid Term Examination:
     l'lrere shall be a written mid-term examination for B.A.I,L.B. and LL'M. programmes.
     Iror compulsory, optional and honours papers, student shall attempt two questions out of
     three questions. 'I'he duration olmid{erm shall be I % hrs. (one and halfhours).
     2.3.      Itrnd Tcrm Examination:
     There shall be written examination for B.A.LL.B. programme. For compulsory, optional
     and honours papers, student shall attempt five questions out of total 7 questions. Question
     no. I shall be compulsory and shall have 10 parts having 0l mark for each part. For

     question no. the word limit of answer is minimum 100 words for each part. The
     duration ofend term shall be 03:00 hrs. (three hours).
     There shall be written examination for LL.M. progmmme. Student shall attempt 4
     questions out of total 6 questions. The duration of end term shall be 03:00 hrs (three
     hours).
     For appearing in the End Term examination, a student shall apply in a prescribed form
     with 2 original photographs and obtain an admit card from the examination section,
     failing which a student shall not be allowed to appear in the end term examination.
     Xerox/Scan copy of photo on prescribed form and admit card shall not be considered
     valid.

    37/0312OL4,   the class presentation of honours papers has been scrapped
    and the scrapped marks of class presentation shall be included in the
    marks of the end-term examination. Consequent upon it, the pattern of
    question paper of end-term examination will be as below:-

                       RULES AND PROVISTONS FOR REVALUATTON
  Revaluation means to r-e-evaluate the paper of a particular subject completely. Under
  this, Student has to surrender his/trer original marks of particular paper and accept the
  final marks when declared by the University as a result of Revaluation.

         It is notified to all the students of Batch-XIV and XV that the following rules in
respect of promotion (detention) has been made applicable from current academic session
i.e. July to November 2015 and onwards:-
RIILES OF PROMOJION OETENTION:'
B.A. LL.B (Honours):
     .    There shall be no automatic promotion to the students.
     o    The students are required to obtain 1 GPA to pass their semester examination.
     .   The students will be promoted to second year even if they have not secured the
         minimum GGPA in the 1st year but they will not be promoted to fifth semester
         unless they have secured minimum 1 Grade Point in every course of first and
         second semesters as well as cumulatively-
     o    The students will be admitted to the ninth semester only if they secure I Grade
          Point in their courses of first second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth semesters as
          well as cumulatively.
     .    If the students fail to secure 1 CGPA even after appearing two times (one initially
          & second repeat), they will be teated as year back students.
Ex-Student:
     .    If        fails to obtain 1 CGPA during 5 year regular.course, he shall be teated
               a student
          as Ex-Student. Ex,student shall apply for examination as and when dates are
