22. To ma int ain operating efficie ncy, user shou ld not operat e the fan 24 ho urs a
day, seve n days a we ek.
23. DO NOT to uch hot surfaces. Use handl es or knobs.
24. NOTE: This fan employs overload prot ection (fuse). A blown fuse ind icates an
overloa d or short -ci rcuit situ ation. If the fuse blows, unplug the fan from t he
out let . Replace the f use and check t he fan. If the rep lacemen t fuse blows, a
short circuit may be present and you shou ld contact customer se rv ice for
instructions .
25. WARNING : To reduce the risk of fire or electrica l shock, do not use t hi s fan
with any solid-state speed con trol device.

['tiliil"d A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the ri sk of personal

inj ury result ing from becom ing enta ngled in or t ripp ing over a longer cord .
Extension cords are available fro m local hardware stores and may be used if ca re
is exercised in t heir use. If an ext ension cord is req uired, special care and ca ution
is necessary. Also, the cord must be: (1) marked w ith an electrical rating of 125V,
and at least 13 A., 1625 W., and (2) t he cord must be arranged so tha t it w ill not
drape over t he countertop or t abletop where it can be pulled on by children or
t ripped over accidentally.

Polarized plug
NOTE :
• This fan has a po larized plug (one blade is wider t han the ot her) .
• As a sa fety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended
to fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
• If t he plug does not fit fully in t he outlet, reverse the plug.
• If t he plug still does not fit, contact a qua lified electrician. Do not attempt to
defeat this safety feat ure.

Electric power
If electric circu it is overloaded with other appliances, your ai r circu lato r fan may
not ope rate properly. The air circulator fan should be operated on a sepa rate
electrica l circuit from other operating appliances .

Although your air circulator fan is easy to operate, for your safety, the warnings
below must be followed:
1. Do not place the fan near a heat source.
2. Never leave the fan unattended while connected to t he electrical outlet.
3. Use t he fan on a stable f lat surface away from water.
4. Do not unplug from the wall outlet by pulling on the supply cord .
5. The fan m ust be unp lugged:
A. After each use.
B. If it appears to be fau lty.
e. Befo re cleaning or ma intenance.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS!

To replace the fuse:

1. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. CAUTION: Do not
unplug by pulling on the power cord.
2. Open the fuse com partment cover on top of the plug by sliding it towards the plug
prongs. (Fig. 1)
3. Using a small flat blade screwdriver, carefully remove the fuse by prying it up from the
end closest to the cord. (Fig. 2)
4. Risk of fire ca n result by using the wrong fuse rat ing. Replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp,
125 Volt rat ing. (not incl uded)
5. Close th e fuse compartment cover by sliding it away from the plug prongs. (Fig. 3)
6. WARN ING: Risk of fire. Do not replace the plug as it contains a safety device (fuse)
th at should not be removed. Contact customer service if the plug is damaged.

User instructions

1. Place the fan on a level and dry surface. Plug the power cord into a polarized
120V AC wall outlet.
2. a (Off), L (Low), M (Medium), H (High).

3. Adjust the angle of the fan to the desired air output direction.
4. To move the fan, turn fan OFF and use concealed carrying handle on back of
fan .

Wall Mounting (optional)

1. Locate and mark a suitable position on the wall to mount the fan (preferably
at a wall stud).
2. Hold the fan aga inst the wall at the location you would like it to be insta lled.
3. Use a pencil to mark the location of the mount open ing screw holes on the
base of the fan. Place fan aside and drill pilot holes through the marks you
have made on the wall.
4. Insert anchors (not in cluded) into th e holes.
5. Place mount screws (not included) through the holes in the wall mount
open ings, and then place the fan into position on the wall.
6. Tighten the screws until the wal l mount is flush against the wall.
7. Once securely attached to the wall, the fan can be plugged into an electri cal
outlet.

Se incluye un cable de alimentacion electrica corto para re ducir el

Enchufe Polarizado
AVISO: Este venti lador circu lador de aire cuenta con un enchufe polarizado (una
clavija es mas ancha que la otra). Como una caracteristica de seguridad para
reducir el riesgo de una descarga electrica, este enchufe est a disenado para
encajar en un tomacorriente po larizado en una sola posicion. Si el enchufe no
encaja completamente en el tomacorriente, invi erta la posicion del enchufe .
Si aun as i no encaja, comuniquese con un electricista ca lificado. No intente
deshacer esta caracteristica de seguridad.

Energia ehktrica
Si el circuito electri co se sobrecarga con otros aparatos electrodomesticos, es

iCONSERVE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES!

Para sustituir el fusible:

1. Agarre el enchufe y extra igalo del receptckulo 0 del otro dispositivo de sali da.
PRECAUCION: No dese nchufe el aparato jalando del cable de alimentaci6n electrica .
2. Abra la cub iert a del comparti mento del f usible que esta encima del enchufe
deslizandola hacia las davij as. Ifigura 1).
3. Con un destorn ill ador de cabeza plana, quite con cu idado el fusible haciendo pa lanca
desde el extre me mas cerca no al ca ble. Ifigura 2) .
4. Usar el t ipo incorrect o de fusible puede provocar riesgo de incendio. Reemplace el
fusible solo can uno de 2.5 A, 125 V. lno incluido)
5. Cierre la cub ierta del compart imento del fusible deslizandola en sent ido opuesto a las
claviia s. (figura 3).
6. ADVE RTENClA: Riesgo de incendio. No susti tuya el conjunto del ench ufe ya que
contiene un dispositivo de seguridad Ifusible) que no debe ext raer. Comunfque se con
serv icio al ci iente si se dana el enchufe.

Instrucciones para el usuario

1. Co loq ue el venti lado r sabre una superficie pla na, seca y nivelada . Enchufe el
cable de aliment acion en un toma corr iente de pa red polarizado de 120 V CA.
2. Seleccione la velocidad deseada 0 (Apagado), L (Baj a), M (Media), H (Alta) .

3. Aj uste el angulo del venti lador hacia la direccio n de salida de aire desea da .
4. Para mover el ventila dor, APAGUE el ventilador y use el mango oculto de
t raslado que esta detras del venti lador.

Para montar en la pared (opcional)

1. Ubique y sena le una posicion adecua da en la pared para mont ar el vent ilador
(de preferencia en un montant e).
2. Sujete el ventilador contra la pa red en el lugar en el que Ie gusta ria insta larlo.
3. Use un lapiz para marcar la ubicacion de los agujeros para at ornillar los
orificios de la montura de la base del ven ti lad or. Ponga el ventila do r a un lado
y t aladre aguje ros pilotos a t raves de las marcas que ha hecho en la pared.
4. Inserte los anclajes (no inclu idos) en los aguj eros.
5. Coloque los torni llos de montaj e (no incl uidos) a traves de los aguje ros en los
o rificios de montaje de la pared y despues coloque el vent il ador en posicion
en la pared .
6. Aj uste los tornil los hasta que la mo ntura quede pegada co nt ra la pared.
7. Una vez que el ventilador est e bien montado a la pared, puede enchu fa rlo en
un tomacorri ente e lect rico.

 Umpi eza y ma ntenimiento

Li mpieza y mantenimiento

Siempre asegurese de que el apa rato este APAGADO y desconectado antes de

limpiarlo a de intent ar guardarlo. NO LO SUMERJA EN AGUA NI EN NINGUN
OTRO LfQUIDO.

1. Antes de limpiar el vent ilador, apaguelo y desconectelo del t omaco rr iente.

2. Qu it e el exceso de paiva con un trapo que no dej e pel usas .
3. Se puede uti lizar el accesorio de cep illo de la aspirad ora para limpiar los
protectores del ventilador. Esto ayudara a qu itar la pel usa y la mugre que se
encuentre dentro del ventilador. NO INTENTE DESARMAR EL VENTILADOR .
NOTA: Tambien puede utiliza rse un bote de aire co mprimido para expulsar el
exceso de suciedad del ventilador y succionarlo can la aspiradora .
4. NO sumerja el ventilador en agua y nunca permita que el agua se meta en la
carcasa del motor.
5. NO use gasolina, solven te de pintura, ni ningun otro quimico para limpiar el
venti lador.
