From fibre to porous metal fibre media
Bekaert Bekipor®: flexible and multi-functional
• A web is a composition of metal fibres, uniformly laid, to form a 3-dimensional non-woven porous web
structure.
• Sintered fibres are a family of uniquely designed metal fibre media, produced by sintering of webs.
This extremely porous, non-woven fibre matrix is available as a single or multiple layer structure.
This metal fibre media is also available with woven screen mesh sintered to either one or both sides. Adding
wire meshes increases the strength, protects the fibres, and allows cross-drainage between the medium and the
perforated core structure. Beside standard compositions, we will develop for you any special compositions to
meet your filtration requirements. Bekaert sintered fibre media can be used in liquid, gas and polymer filtration
applications, for a wide range of filter ratings.
