First Quarter:
France had a 14-4 run early in the game, prompting Germany to call time at 4:11 mark.
Germanys team captain Robin Benzing responded to that timeout with a shot, but France
continues to wax hot to lead 19-10 after the first quarter.
Second Quarter:
Newly-signed San Antonio Spurs big man Joffrey Lauvergne showed some of his range and his
trey from the center gave France a 24-13 lead.
Germany tried to come back as it trimmed Frances lead to just 24-29, but the latter showed
composure behind Evan Fournier and Boris Diaw.
Dennis Schroder of Germany hits a layup late in the second quarter to pull Germany to within 34-
40 at the break.
Third Quarter:
Schroder became more aggressive in the third quarter and helped Germany pulled to just 44-46
with 6:16 left. But France pushed the lead back to 51-44.
Germany got back and tied the game at 51. Third quarter ended with France hanging with a 56-
55 lead.
Fourth Quarter:
Maodo Lo hit a trey to give Germany its first lead, 58-56, at 9:11 mark. Lucca Staiger and Danilo
Barthel hit two more trey to push Germanys lead to 64-60 as France called timeout, 7:37 left.
Fournier answered with a personal 5-0 run, but Daniel Theis and Benzing drilled back to back trey
for Germany to give their country a 70-65 lead.
Theis drilled another triple with 1:57 left to give Germany its biggest lead at 77-68.
France called timeout, before Fournier started to take matter in his hands. He pulled France to
within 82-81 with seven seconds left.
Benzing went 2 of 2 from the FT line. Fournier had a long pass to Nando De Colo but De Colo
missed a triple at the buzzer.

Abderrahim Najah and Mohamed Choua led Morocco to a dream start against Angola, leading
the latter, 8-1, under the halfway mark of the opening period.
Angola found its range as it headed to the second quarter up, 10-8.
Second quarter:
Game went back-and-forth but Angola took a 20-16 lead off Yanick Moreiras slam.
Ali Lahrichi hits two FTs late to give Morocco a 25-20 lead, but Angolas Silvio Sousa hit a layup
at the buzzer. Morocco lead 25-22 at the break.
Third quarter:
Reggie Moore of Angola hit four straight baskets, adding to Armando Costas earlier layup, to
give Angola a 28-25 lead.
Olimpio Cipriano and Carlos Morais hit two straight for Angola to stretch lead to 32-26, 4:58 left.
Moore continued to torch Morocco, but Morocco did a great job rallying back from a 33-38 down
as they retook the lead, 40-38, off Reda Rhalimis dunk.
Fourth quarter:
Moore and Cipriano continued to catch fire as they drilled one triple each to give Angola back the
lead, 46-45, with 7:52 left.
Najah and Choua then combined for eight points to put Morocco on top again, 53-46, with 3:12
left.
Sousa tried to rally Angola back, 50-53, but Najah, Lahrichi, and Adil El Makssoud drilled crucial
shots as buzzer sounded.
