LPG CYLINDERS FOR FORKLIFT TRUCKS (FLT) IN 2006.
THE STANDARD SIZE IS 14 KG (31 LBS).
LIGHTWEIGHT
Hexagon Ragasco cylinders are lighter than
aluminum and steel cylinders. With an empty
weight1 of 6.3 kg (13.8 lbs), giving it a maximum
weight2 of 21 kg (46.3 lbs) when full, our cylinders
are the lightest FLT cylinders available. European
Manual Handling Operations Regulations state that it
is not allowed to lift cylinders heavier than 25 kg (55
lbs) further than elbow height. Our FLT cylinders
lightweight is well below this requirement.
All cylinders have identical tare weight. The low
weight combined with an ergonomic design makes
this cylinder very easy to lift, handle and stack,
further reducing the risk of workplace injury.

Hexagon Ragasco cylinders patented construction
withstands a burst pressure that is twice as high as
their steel counterparts. In addition, our cylinders will
not BLEVE, eliminating the risk of explosion in case
of fire.

The translucent composite materials allow you
to see the fuel level eliminating the need for
inaccurate gauges. It is now easy to see exactly
how much fuel is left. Hexagon Ragasco FLT
cylinders are delivered with an approved valve
for liquid service with fast fill connection, customized for your market, for effortless filling in
both horizontal and vertical position.
