Project Schedule Management
This class introduces the project schedule management discussing the planning, development,
and control of the project schedule. The discussion will involve building a project
schedule in plan-driven development and adaptive projects. We will focus on the estimation
techniques, networking diagram, critical path and schedule compression techniques
and iteration planning. The discussion will continue with the use of earned value
management techniques, velocity, and burn rate to monitor project progress. ( 3 contact

Agile Project Management
We all have heard of Project Management, but what is Agile Project Management? This
course is designed to provide beginners across all industries with a comprehensive
understanding of Agile Project Management using the Scrum framework. We will delve
into the core principles, methodologies, and practices of Scrum, equipping you with
the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage projects in today's dynamic
and fast-paced environments. Through a combination of interactive lectures, hands-on
exercises, and real-world case studies, you will gain practical insights into the
key roles of Scrum Master and Product Owner, and how they collaborate to drive project
success. From sprint planning to retrospective meetings, you will learn the entire
Scrum lifecycle and how to apply its principles. No Pre-req. (14 contact hours). The
14 hours counts towards the 35 course required hours for PMP. $525. Not eligible for

Course Objectives:
- Understanding of Agile principles and values, and how they differ from traditional project management approaches.
- Proficiency in the Scrum framework, including its roles, events, artifacts, and rules.
- Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Skills to create and prioritize product backlogs, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
- Knowledge of techniques for managing impediments and fostering continuous improvement within Scrum teams.
- Practical experience in applying Scrum practices through hands-on exercises and simulations.

Project Risk Management
This class will introduce the project risk management discipline and the risk management
lifecycle involving identification, analysis, evaluation, and response treatment.
Differentiating the various terminologies used in many industries describing risk,
the characteristics of risk management will be discussed along with applicable standards
and regulations in using risk management effectively. (3 contact hours or 3 PDUs).
