This tale closes the Regency-era saga with the story of Gregory, the last unmarried Bridgerton.

Gregory has been patiently waiting for his turn at love, and when he sees beautiful Hermione Watson, he is sure he
has found his soul mate. But then her friend Lucy, who is happily engaged herself, informs Gregory that Hermione’s
heart belongs to another. Lucy attempts to bring Hermione and Gregory together in wedded bliss—but in the process,
she falls for him. Yet Lucy simply cannot break off her own engagement—and Gregory must decide what to do on

What our readers think

Readers find this title to be a mix of stress, drama, suspense, and romance. Some reviewers enjoyed the different twist to the story, but wished for a better storyline for the gay character. However, there were negative reviews about the poor writing, with some finding it far-fetched and suggesting elements of rape. Despite this, there were still positive reviews from readers who enjoyed the book and found it to be a good addition to the series, although some felt it was long-winded and had filler information. Overall, the book received mixed reviews but was still appreciated by fans of the series.

Not bad, but little too long! And "falling in love" part was not really beliveable. Book was 3 stars, but narrator made it 4 stars! Love her!!

A bit long winded and boring. A lot of filler information I could've done without.

Not as good as some of the others, but great as well. If you like the others, you will like this book

Love this series and love this book but I can honestly say this was the most stressful story ever. Marvelous and utterly romantic but also entirely stressful.

Here I was thinking I wouldn't be interested in the last two Bridgerton books, and here I am finding them to be my absolute favorites!

I skimmed and skipped a huge portion of the start of this book as I didn’t want to read about our hero falling for someone else. Once it got to our couple though, I hung on every word!

Second best of the Bridgerton Books. Drama. Suspense. Love. I liked that it had a different twist to the story. I just wish that the gay character had better story line.

I didn't like it. I mean i kinda liked the beginning, but then the narration went downhill.
"Oh how i love her. I will die if i don't have her" .. something happens. "Oh, i actually like this other one".
I mean.. i get that young, old century people might have behave that way but this was just so far fetched (on the love part) and poor writing.
And the poor writing took a new low when what was described sounded like he was suggesting rape. He was insisting on sex and she refused multiple times.. so yeah, i think I'm just fed up with the poor writing for this series. If it wouldn't have been for Netflix I wouldn't have started this. Hopefully Netflix does it justice better...
