Wireframes

In this book, I share a wide breadth of examples, comparisons, frameworks,
references and insights to help you better utilize wireframes in your product design
and development process.
I talk about basic concepts like who uses wireframes, what’s their purpose and how
you can use them. I also detail the many types of wireframes you can create, and
the types of tools used to create them. For more experienced readers, I’ve also laid
out the top web and mobile wireframe example and pattern sources, and highlight
some of the best web and mobile UI design patterns that have cropped up in the
past few years. Finally, I cover design principles that are hopefully helpful as you
wireframe and, ultimately, build products.
Hopefully, this is the start of a discussion. These are some of the many questions
that my team at UXPin and I are trying to answer every day. And we need to answer
them so we can build one of the best wireframing and prototyping tools that you or
people like you will use – and love.

A web based course monitoring report system is required to be developed. The CMR requires roles
for various number of users such as the Course Leader, Course Moderator, Pro-Vice Chancellor
and Director of Learning and Quality. Each user has specific functions in the system to carry out
in order to the course monitoring report to be approved.
A Course Leader enters details in to the CMR form for a certain course. The CMR Report has to
be created for every academic year. Once the CMR is created, the system sends the Course
Moderator the report for approval. Once the CMR Report is approved by the Course Moderator
the Pro-Vice Chancellor and Director of Learning and Quality can view the report. The Director
of Learning and Quality can comment a report. The system contains an Administrator who can
access and view the overall system. The system contains a guest account which displays reports.

An optical ring resonator is indeed a series of waveguides in which a closed loop coupled with some sort of
input and output of light is at least one. The consequence of the index difference on dielectric waveguide
characteristics such as single-mode process, losses, efficiency of fiber to waveguide coupling, minimum
bending radius, hybridity mode, birefringence, polarization effects, repeatability and stability, integration
size, realizable circuits, technical constraints and usable materials is indeed very significant for study. The
purpose of this article is to analyze the effect of the features of the waveguide with regard to the index
correlation and to explore the difficulties. This article assesses the effect of the intensity index on the
characteristics of the dielectric waveguide, such as the single-mode device, losses, technical constraints
and materials available. This work is an approximation for the design of optical waveguides, so that by
lowering the silicon index, we can achieve versatility.

Traditional geostatistical modelling of orebodies and estimation of grade-tonnage curves do not account for the uncertainty of the orebody grades and tonnages. Geological interpretations of complex shapes are often over-constrained, and therefore do not properly identify the location of the ore. In these situations, tonnage is often under-estimated and grade is over-estimated, resulting in orebody models used for mine planning that lead to costly financial decisions. This paper presents an approach aiming to better assess the uncertainty in an orebody model. The approach is applied to Vale’s West Orebody of the Coleman McCreedy Mine, a poly-metallic deposit containing nickel, copper, gold, platinum and palladium. To encapsulate the orebody’s variability and uncertainty, the nickel-copper sulphide contact is simulated using the single normal equation simulation method. The realizations serve as the orebody models from which the grades of multiple elements are jointly simulated using Min/Max Autocorrelation Factors. The final result is a series of equiprobable representations of the mineralization that incorporates both grade and tonnage uncertainty. The case study indicates that had conventional orebody estimations been used, there would have been a 10% over-estimation of orebody volume, along with significant over-estimation of low-grade material and under-estimation of high-grade material.

Postgraduate research students often feel isolated studying in their own topic and the long-term effect of isolation and lack of social connectedness brings negative impacts e.g. dropping out from the research program. Gamification is defined as the use of game design elements in non-gaming environments. It is envisaged that the two main classes of game elements to guide postgraduate research students along the journey are progression and social. We propose a system model using these two main classes of game elements to progress and connect postgraduate research students in increasing their learning efficacy and socializing among other postgraduate research students. Our proposed system model is grounded in the recent research presenting that one can be inspired extrinsically through fulfilment of the three basic psychological needs known as autonomy, competence and relatedness and these are influenced by autonomy support. The  article  deals  with  some  aspects  of  the  process  of  forming  the  future  computer science bachelor's graphic competency at the stage of user's interface prototyping in the course of software  development.  The  modern  situation  has  been  studied  and  the  urgency  of  the  stage  of user's  interface  prototyping  as  a  mediator  in  the  man-machine  coordination  during  the  process  of software  development  is  proved.  The  Conceptual  set in  the  sphere  of  prototyping  is  examined, namely  —  the  concepts  of  wireframe,  prototype  and  mockup.  The  factors  of  projects successfulness,  the  problems  in  the  coordination  of  the  project  participants  and  the  methods  of their  overcoming  are  being  considered.  The  comparison  of  the  essence  and  the  analysis  and  the main  methods  of  prototyping  and  correlating  their  value  during  the  software  development  are given. The comparative analysis of the software and on-line resources for prototyping according to the  detalization  degree  and  taking  into  account  the  basic  characteristics  of  a  means,  types  and stages  of  prototyping,  portability  and  using  the  means  is  carried  out.  The  necessary  base  of knowledge,  skills  and  knacks,  forming  during  the  study  of  such  disciplines  as  “Computer Graphics”  and  “The  Essential  of  Computer  Design”,  as  well  as  essentials  of  composition,  colour theory, ergonomics and typography is determined. The necessity of both the student's mastering an amount  of  theoretical  knowledge  and  its  successful using  in  his  practical  activity  is  stressed.  The results  of  the  research  can  be  a  substratum  for  improving  the  content  of  the  educational  and methodical  complex  in  the  discipline  “Software  Projecting”  for  computer  science  bachelors  by means of introducing the teaching of prototyping from the low-fidelity to high fidelity detalization. The  influence  of  user's  interface  prototyping  on  the  formation  of  the  future  computer  science bachelor's professional qualities is determined.

Postgraduate research students often feel isolated studying in their own topic and the long-term effect of isolation and lack of social connectedness brings negative impacts e.g. dropping out from the research program. Gamification is defined as the use of game design elements in non-gaming environments. It is envisaged that the two main classes of game elements to guide postgraduate research students along the journey are progression and social. We propose a system model using these two main classes of game elements to progress and connect postgraduate research students in increasing their learning efficacy and socializing among other postgraduate research students. Our proposed system model is grounded in the recent research presenting that one can be inspired extrinsically through fulfilment of the three basic psychological needs known as autonomy, competence and relatedness and these are influenced by autonomy support. Our future effort is to utilize this proposed system model to deploy and implement the system model to a prototype of an app and demonstrate empirically that it delivers a positive impact on postgraduate research students' satisfaction and completion of their program.
