Abstrakt: Digitálne prostredie zmenilo svet médií snahou o otvorenú, neregulovanú ko-munikáciu. Oproti regulatívom médií, ktoré zabezpečovali kontrolnými mechaniz-mami dôveryhodnosť médií sa dnes všadeprítomné sociálne siete a webové stránky správajú akopriestor, kde je možné tvrdiť čokoľvek. Zároveň sa pravda, lož a fikcia môžu slobodne pohybovať ako rovnocenné informácie vo virtuálnom priestore a ovplyvňovať aj činnosť ľudí v realite. Konšpiračné teórie a hoaxy môžu zasiahnuť celú spoločnosť – od politiky až po očkovanie a zdravie verejnosti. Ako sa má správať spoločnosť v tomto deregulovanom informačnom priestore? To compare supervised media that provide the certain level of trustworthiness, current social networks and web pages are the space where is possible to declare whatever. The lie and fiction can move freely in the virtual space as equal source of information and they can influence the activities of people in real lives. Conspiracy theories and hoaxes can affect the whole society – from politics to vaccination and public health. How should society behave in this deregulated information area? Do začiatku deväťdesiatych rokov minulého storočia ovládali oficiálne informácie organizované skupiny – nemyslíme tým len na nejakú oficiálnu cenzúru štátu, činnosť tajných služieb alebo propagandu, ale aj na profesionálnu prácu médií. Mediálna ko-munikácia sa považovala za regulárnu prácu vykonávanú profesionálmi v profesionál-nych inštitúciách. (Kunczik, M., 1995, s. 17). In a recent short text Giorgio Agamben added his voice to those comparing the digital COVID certificate, known in Europe as “Green Pass,” to the yellow star that marked out the Jews in Nazi-occupied Europe. Unsavory as it is, this analogy is consistent with Agamben’s theorizing of the concentration camp as the paradigm of modernity, and thus responds, perhaps, to the specific criteria and demands of his philosophical project. Or perhaps it constitutes a slippage towards an emotional rather than philosophical reductio ad Hitlerum aimed at vilifying the opponents and thus at foreclosing rather than making an argument.The article contextualizes his recent remarks with his foundational analysis of Auschwitz and the camp, trying to question and clarify the strategy he has adopted in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

On one hand, historians of alternative medicine and drugless healing provide effective counter narratives, albeit rarely connecting their subjects to the medicalization of education. On the other hand, the historiography of medical liberty is a product of allopathic practitioner histories and the AMA’s boundary maintenance of cults, frauds, nostrums, quackery, and pseudo-medicine. As a student of allopathy proclaimed: “Perhaps in this Land of Liberty, we are freer to be duped, and with all our opportunities we have more chances to embrace delusions.” Better, however, to turn this on its head and conclude that education, medicine and psychotherapeutics offer exemplary sites through which liberty and its dreams are forged.

While vaccine-critical activism has been widely documented and discussed, comparatively little has been said about the concerted response of pro-vaccine activists defending the majority view. This paper explores two case studies of pro-vaccine activism in Australia and the United States (US). It shows how pro-vaccine views and behaviours can take varying forms due to different aims and methods of engagement-oppositional counteractivities in favour of vaccination in Australia, and issue-based advocacy as part of a political alliance in the US. The focus in Australia comes from a pro-science stance and includes 'skeptics' against pseudoscience directly opposing vaccine-critical groups. In the US, the focus takes the form of an issue-specific campaign that has arisen from existing pro-vaccine parent blogs and discussion groups pushing for policy change rather than public confrontation. These case studies exemplify how pro-vaccine activism can take varying forms of either reinforcing the mainstream view or countering digression from it. Drawing on qualitative research, this paper aims to examine the types of practices and strategies employed by activists to voice their support of vaccination, and discusses the means, messages, and motivations of pro-vaccine activism. It ends with an argument for why a study-of public support for in addition to studying public opposition to vaccination-can help to better understand vaccination views and behaviours. These findings have wider implications for the study of counter-activism and the polarisation of civil society groups. 2

This research find outs the main arguments of anti-vaxxers’ discourse analyzing the contents of tweets posted to “#aşıolmayacağım (#iwontgetavaccine) hashtag on Twitter. With regards to discourse theory, social media has an influence on public opinion and public policies. This study identifies the Twitter users’ thoughts about Covid-19, vaccine, public policies, global organizations, scientist, and people vaccinated or not. It points out that the anti-vaccine discourse has been visible for public on Twitter. The investigation of anti-vaccine opinions on Twitter is important for public policy actors providing information and data in the processes of decision making and policy implementation during pandemic.
