Das Theater der Vorahmung wird durch die feministische Repräsentationskritik von Donna Haraway und Karen Barad beleuchtet. Der Begriff der Mimesis erhält hierdurch einen neuen Vektor. Mit Hilfe eines Begriffs von Transkulturalität lässt sich ermessen, ob ein Theater der Vorahmung als emanzipative, kulturelle Praxis das Theater der nächsten, großen Transformation sein kann.

Επιχειρείται μια φαινομενολογική προσέγγιση της νύχτας στην ελληνική δραματουργία, από τη μεταπολίτευση και μετά. Η νύχτα είναι και λειτουργεί ενδοκειμενικά ως μία αναπαράσταση, δηλαδή ως μία ελλιπής ή και παραπειστική επανάληψη μιας ελικοειδούς και δυσπρόσιτης πραγματικότητας, ως μία επανάληψη που ενεργοποιεί κατά το μάλλον ή ήττον τις μεταφορικές δυνάμεις της γλώσσας, παράγοντας, ως εκ τούτου, νοητικά σχήματα ασταθή, αμφίβολα και αμφίσημα. Το μελέτημα δεν εστιάζει στις τυπικές χρονικές σημάνσεις της νύχτας, εκεί δηλαδή όπου μια σκηνική οδηγία μας πληροφορεί ότι απλώς είναι νύχτα, αλλά στα «γεγονότα» που λαμβάνουν χώρα κατά τη διάρκεια αυτής της νύχτας και, σε αρκετές περιπτώσεις, στα γεγονότα γενικότερα που θα μπορούσαν να χαρακτηριστούν ως «νυχτερινά». Άρα, το ζήτημα μετακυλύεται από τη χρονική σήμανση στο περιεχόμενο της νύχτας, σε αυτό που θα μπορούσε να είναι νυχτερινό χωρίς απαραίτητα να λαμβάνει χώρα τη νύχτα, σε αυτό που είναι «σκοτεινό», ανοίκειο ή παραβατικό. Η νύχτα είναι το σύνορο του οριοθετημένου και του απεριόριστου, της λογικής και της φαντασίας, του φυσιολογικού και του τερατώδους, είναι η οριακή εκείνη περιοχή όπου ο άνθρωπος μπορεί να σταθεί έχοντας στη μία πλευρά του το οικείο περιβάλλον της «κατοικίας» του, (που αποτελείται λ.χ. από υιοθετημένες στάσεις και συμπεριφορές, από αυτονόητες προϋποθέσεις και κοινόχρηστες έννοιες), και στην άλλη, όλους εκείνους τους ακατοίκητους τόπους που αγνοεί, παραβλέπει ή απωθεί.
Οι αναλύσεις των έργων κινούνται σε δύο κατευθύνσεις: στην κατεύθυνση του ανοίκειου και σε εκείνη του οικείου. Μεταξύ των εξεταζόμενων κειμένων στην κατεύθυνση του ανοίκειου είναι ο Γάμος  και η Γυναίκα του Λωτ του Μάριου Ποντίκα, η Κατσαρίδα του Βασίλη Μαυρογεωργίου, το Playmobil του Παναγιώτη Μέντη, ο Αόρατος θίασος και οι Δύκολες νύχτες του κυρίου Θωμά του Ιάκωβου Καμπανέλλη, ο Φιλοκτήτης και Τα επτά κουτιά της Πανδώρας του Βασίλη Ζιώγα, ο Περιποιητής φυτών και Προς Ελευσίνα του Παύλου Μάτεσι, το Μαγικό δωμάτιο του Γιάννη Χρυσούλη, το Μόνο την αλήθεια  των Βασίλη Μαυρογεωργίου και Μαρία Φιλίνη. Στην κατεύθυνση του οικείου εξετάζονται τα έργα: Σε φιλώ στη μούρη του Γιώργου Διαλεγμένου, το Γάλα του Βασίλη Κατσικονούρη, Στην Εθνική με τα μεγάλα του Μιχάλη Βιρβιδάκη, οι Φιλοξενούμενοι του Μάρκαρη και οι Ξένοι του Μέντη, οι Εφτά λογικές απαντήσεις του Λεωνίδα Προυσαλίδη κ.ά, ενώ στις διασταυρώσεις των δύο κατευθύνσεων εξετάζονται το Σε σας που με ακούτε της Λούλας Αναγνωστάκη, Ο Κήπος με τα χελιδόνια του Μπάμπη Τσικληρόπουλου, το 314 του Παναγιώτη Παναγόπουλου, το Ατύχημα του Χρυσούλη ή ο Ορθός λόγος του Μάριου Ποντίκα.
Τα θέματα, οι εικόνες, οι ιστορίες και οι προσωπικές περιπέτειες που συναντούμε εδώ μπορούν να αποτελέσουν μέρος μιας μεγαλύτερης αφήγησης παραβάσεων και υπερβάσεων, αποκλίσεων και συμβολικών μορφών, η οποία θα μπορούσε να διευρύνει τις οπτικές γωνίες επόπτευσης των κειμένων. Μια παρόμοια προσέγγιση μας προτρέπει να ξαναδιαβάσουμε διεστιακά πολλά κείμενα της νεοελληνικής δραματουργίας με διαφορετικούς τρόπους και να διερευνήσουμε πώς οι ταυτότητες και οι διαφορές εμπλέκονται στη σύνθεση των κειμένων αυτών, διαμορφώνοντας μια διαλογική σχέση του εγώ και του άλλου.

This introductory chapter outlines theatricality and performativity by way of their tensions and paradoxes – between seeing and doing, novelty and normativity – and argues for a more perspectival approach with notions of ‘texture,’ derived from anthropologist Tim Ingold and philosopher Stephen Pepper. After a section on ‘metaphor,’ those of texture and weaving are further elaborated in three extensive segments, beginning from their prior usage in dramaturgy (Eugenio Barba) and philosophy (feminism, Pepper, ecology). The third and most important section introduces Ingold’s meshwork as a key figure of plural performative becoming: the interweaving of lines, as opposed to the network as a key figure of theatrical detachment or abstraction – the connecting of points or objects into which the meshwork is simplified when we optically ‘zoom out’ from its haptic engagement. In the end, the ensuing chapters are introduced, themselves addressed as specific ‘threads’ within the book’s overall texture.

El presente trabajo procura una revalorización del teatro de César Vallejo y de su estética teatral (tal y como aparece El arte la revolución) a partir de situar correctamente su obra dentro de los parámetros de teatro político y soviético del momento. Vallejo, como Piscator, Meyerhold, Maiakowski, Mishon y otros autores de teatro revolucionario, presentan un proyecto ideológico y estético paralelo en el que la nueva estética proletaria supere a la burguesa. En esta estética es fundamental el uso de la nueva cinematografía, el documento, la “Biomecánica”, la coreografía armónica y una concepción escenográfico-espacial constructivista. A la par, este artículo adelanta que, desde el Instituto del Teatro de Madrid, nos encontramos en un proceso de realizar una edición de los textos teatrales en francés que incluya los tachones, enmiendas y correcciones. Esta edición podría beneficiarse de ser planteada a partir de los presupuestos de la crítica genética de modo que se deje a las claras el proceso de composición del autor y que permita una mejor fijación del arquetipo de unos textos de tan complicada transmisión.

O presente trabalho vem contemplar em que medidas o conceito de Teatro Essencial, criado por Denise Stoklos, consegue se aproximar efetivamente das propostas originais da Arte Minimalista. Neste trabalho, deve-se compreender o Minimalismo em suas distintas expressões artísticas: cinema, teatro, literatura, pintura etc. Para isso, discutir-se-ão os pontos de encontro entre ambas as correntes artísticas com o objetivo de efetuar uma busca investigativa no horizonte de uma corrente pós-dramática brasileira, a qual hoje é objeto de estudo e exportação intelectual no exterior, como é o Teatro Essencial de Denise Stoklos. Assim, será possível compreender novas medidas investigativas nas perspectivas alternativas do teatro brasileiro contemporâneo.

En lisant pour la première fois Civilisation de Dimitris Dimitriadis à l'époque où la pièce a été écrite, à un moment de prospérité et de progrès apparent (2003), j'avoue que je n'ai vu dans sa composition qu'un jeu dramatique, produit d'un mécanisme de renversement des mythes, qui a été mobilisé une fois de plus comme prétexte de la démarche poétique. L'usage de ce mécanisme semblait particulièrement paradoxal ici: Une des oeuvres les plus subversives de l'Antiquité, Médée d'Euripide, quelle marge laisse-t-elle pour un nouveau renversement ? Constituant l'exemple parfait de la thèse aristotélicienne, selon laquelle les conflits les plus tragiques s'expriment au sein d'une même famille et que ce sont ceux-là que le poète doit rechercher, l'héroïne offre réellement un matériau dramatique rare tant pour le dramaturge de l'Antiquité que pour celui de l'époque contemporaine, d'où la surabondance de transcriptions de ce mythe tout au long des siècles. Naturellement, nous n'incluons pas dans celles-ci les traductions de l'oeuvre antique constituant une sorte de transcription elles aussi. A ce propos signalons à titre indicatif l'excellente traduction de Médée de Yorgos Himonas (en grec moderne), sans doute le seul frère-poète grec de Dimitriadis. Sous l'emprise de son amour pour Jason, qu'elle aide à voler la Toison d'Or, la Médée du mythe, fille de roi de Colchide, non seulement trahit son père et assassine son frère, le démembrant et répandant ses membres dans la mer, mais trahie à son tour par son compagnon qui tombe amoureux de la fille du seigneur de Corinthe dans sa nouvelle patrie, elle a recours au crime suprême pour se venger de lui: elle projette et commet le meurtre de leurs enfants. Un tel effet domino de vengeance irréversible devrait entraîner, conformément à la gestion traditionnelle de la tragédie, la punition de l'héroïne. Sans punition, il n'y a pas de catharsis, ne serait-ce qu'au sens de la symétrie comme l'écrit Himonas : « la catharsis dans la tragédie n'est qu'une question d'analogie en rapport avec la forme complexe du déséquilibre extrême qui a précédé ». Et pourtant, comme nous le savons tous, Euripide pardonne Médée en lui offrant une sortie brillante sur le char du Père....

DIMITRA KONDYLAKI est docteur en littérature comparée (Paris-IV-Sorbonne). Sa thèse de doctorat, sous la dir. de Denis Guénoun, a été consacrée à l'édition du théâtre contemporain en France et en Grèce durant les années 1980-2000. Metteur en scène, essayiste et universitaire, elle anime également l'Atelier de traduction théâtrale de l'Institut français (Grèce) voué au répertoire contemporain. Elle est l'auteur de la première monographie sur le théâtre de Dimitris Dimitriadis (Explorant la possibilité de l'imprévu, Editions Nefeli, 2015).

Ausgehend von Jacques Rancières Überlegungen zu „Der unwissende Lehrmeister: fünf Lektionen über die intellektuelle Emanzipation“ (2007) und „Der emanzipierte Zuschauer“ (2008) interessiert sich diese internationale und interdisziplinäre Tagung für die epistemologische Erkundung, die Hinterfragung sowie die Neuperspektivierung der Zuschauenden- und Rezeptionspositionen in Bezug auf die Potentialität von Theater und Performancekünsten in reflexiven und inklusiven Gesellschaften.

Au sujet de certaines de ses pièces récentes, Martin Crimp déclare que, dans cette nouvelle forme d’écriture plus expérimentale, « l'espace dramatique est un espace mental, pas physique. » Quant à Sarah Kane, elle évoque dans 4.48 Psychose, pièce posthume rédigée peu avant son suicide, son sentiment d'avoir le visage « scotché au verso de son esprit ». C’est à partir de tels propos que nous proposons d'étudier un théâtre « de l’espace mental » et du traumatisme, où les voix en scène se caractérisent par l’instabilité d’identités brouillées, interchangeables, voire de personnalités multiples, qui interrogent en profondeur la définition et le fonctionnement du personnage de théâtre sur la scène actuelle.
Les préoccupations et les démarches qui sont celles de la psychologie, de la psychiatrie et de la psychanalyse tendent en effet à être récupérées, dramatisées et poétisées dans des textes du théâtre contemporain. En travaillant à partir de ces discours théoriques et cliniques, les pièces présentées ici mettent en lumière la méfiance que suscitent les discours aliénants sur « l’autre », fussent-ils médicaux ou médicalisants.
Dans ce travail, nous nous intéressons ainsi au traitement poétique et théâtral de la subjectivité pathologique constituée en objet dramatique à travers quelques pièces contemporaines (Martin Crimp, Sarah Kane, Gildas Milin, Francesca Cabrini…) et explorons la façon dont ces auteurs utilisent et détournent, par le biais de la réécriture, le discours médical – la parole du médecin, la voix de l’analyste, le propos du thérapeute – mais également comment ils élaborent la voix du « patient », ou plus exactement celle de la femme en détresse psychologique, pour constituer une nouvelle poésie de la scène. Il s'agit de réfléchir aux questions suivantes : pourquoi et comment ces structures et motifs mis au jour par la recherche dans le milieu de la santé mentale, et en particulier les interprétations et les matériaux qu’elle a élaborés, viennent s’insérer, thématiquement et structurellement, dans les textes dramatiques contemporains pour les informer et les habiter ? Pourquoi la psyché tend-t-elle ainsi à devenir non seulement le nouveau, voire le seul personnage principal, mais également l’espace même du drame, voire le drame tout entier, de ce nouveau théâtre ? Quels liens existe-il entre le théâtre contemporain et le milieu de la santé mentale ?

Femi Osofisan has a prodigious output of drama, poetry, and critical essays. His plays are regularly performed in Nigeria, and in other parts of Africa, Europe and the United States.

Although there are many dissertations and scholarly articles on Osofisan's drama, full length studies are somewhat few and far between, despite his stature as a major African playwright.

In my forthcoming book, The Theatre of Femi Osofisan, I examine in-depth the world of Femi Osofisan's characters, underlining not just their main pre-occupations but how Osofisan's craft and politics impact upon their world.

The current essay is a critical summation of my exploration of Femi Osofisan's theatre.

Während die Brechung der Verfügungsgewalt über den eigenen Körper und seine Bewegungen in der profanen Sphäre der Lohnarbeit (zurecht) als Entmündigung erfahren wird, bedingt das Prinzip der segmentierten, ins Stocken geratenen Bewegung ästhetisch gewendet jedoch gleichzeitig die Möglichkeit zur Selbstdistanzierung und Reflexion: einer, der innehält, einen Schritt zurücktritt, um sich die Dinge aus gebührendem Abstand anzusehen. Die epische Dimension liegt auf der Hand. Die Unterbrechung fungiert in dieser Figur also als einerseits notwendiges wie beschädigendes Moment moderner Selbsterfahrung, dem jedoch gleichzeitig das Potential zur Selbstreflexion und, womöglich, zur Re-Okkupation von Handlungsfähigkeit innewohnt.

Paradoxically, historical studies of performing arts seem to have seldom approached the manner of development of critical discourses; and this, despite the fact that the basic subject matter that comes to the aid of historiographers interested in arts (fewer and fewer of them can be seen in the academic environment of my activity) is given by critical discourses: leading articles, essays, reviews, investigative pieces, feature reports and interviews from this or that time. Very few researchers seem to have raised valid questions about the relationship between (artistic, theatrical…) creation and the critical discourses meant to represent and assess it. A simple web search including the keywords " theatre " , " history " , " theatre criticism " , " rhetoric " will expose the austerity of this field: such austerity may seem unfathomable, since, both from the viewpoint of the history of performing arts and from the viewpoint of the history of aesthetic, social, philosophical or political ideas, interactions are essential and their dynamics is almost impossible to ignore. This is why this article seeks to emphasize a number of primary themes, each of them potentially representing individual research stages that deserve subsequent systematic development. Eberhard argues convincingly in his 1923 volume, Das Schicksal als poetische Idee bei Homer that fate is a narrative device in the Iliad and Odyssey which guides the narration towards resolution. As an example of fate at work, he cites the narrator harnessing fate to fulfil ‘what must happen’ when Zeus finds the deaths of Sarpedon and Hector difficult. Movement towards resolution, however, is not the only force motivating the narration. Achilles' vacillations between remaining or quitting pull the narration away from resolution: such episodes suggest the idea of an apparent freedom within fate. If Iliadic fate or free will were unwavering dogmatic notions, their coexistence would be problematic. But perhaps harmony between the two is possible when free will in the Iliad is—like Eberhard's conception of fate—a poetic or narrative device.

The following theatre directing essay focuses on the analysis of the ensemble, according to the Russian and European tradition. The text is mainly based on the theatre directing études experienced during the triennial period of study at the International Theatre Academy of the Adriatic, an Italian institute of theatre arts for actors and directors.

En Antígona podemos ver como el papel de la mujer a través de confrontarse ante la decisión de respetar las leyes divinas o seguir las leyes humanas toma gran fuerza, puesto que la mujer en el siglo V a. C. no tenía gran importancia como integrante de la sociedad, dado que no participaba en la toma de decisiones, ni tenía un lugar destacado jerárquicamente, como el hecho de no pertenecer a la ciudadanía. Es por ello que la decisión de Antígona de respetar la ley divina ante la de los hombres sin importar las consecuencias que este hecho le acarreara toma gran importancia al ser un contraste destacado en cuanto a la sociedad en la que se desarrolla la historia.

While retaining hierarchical structure externally,  Artaud moved from representation to non-representative, purely physical but at the same time paradoxicaly  metaphysical theatre. This research focuses on the concept of non-representative body - body-hieroglyph, dancing and screaming body - and its relationship to language. An ambiguous Artaud’s relationship with Wetern philosophical tradition is marked by his turning away from the ,,logos” which brings us to the authentical conception of a word as ,,mythos”.

De la primera, se analiza "Alejandro y Ana" y de la segunda Ruz-Bárcenas. Se plantean conexiones en cuanto teatro político y crítica social.

Doing drama is a complex interactive process. Drama processes, such as rehearsals, rely heavily on the spoken communication between the participants (such as actors, directors, performance artists), no matter how much gesture and movement is involved. Drama is often thought of only in terms of a final product, such as a performance or a script, rather than as a creative communication and working process that can be spread out over a longer period of time before reaching its final stage. In spite of all the research and analysis dedicated to drama, discursive research has rarely been carried out on theatre practice and its authentic discourse, which constitute part of the everyday working process for theatre practitioners the world over. This paper explores from a discursive perspective what is going on in drama processes and introduces the method I have developed for researching drama processes.

This research paper explores music theatre writing and research since its conception in the 1960s. It will explore what music theatre is or isn’t and will serve as a resource for me to draw upon whilst writing my own music theatre portfolio. I will be looking at different practices and practitioners such as Kagel and Cage as well as more contemporary practitioners and music theatre groups.

Dans Hamlet, la réaction de Claudius face à la pantomime et à la représentation théâtrale auxquelles il assiste est ambiguë. Dans cet article, il s’agit de réfléchir à une manière dont elle pourrait être exploitée par des lecteurs — qui sont par ailleurs spectateurs et dont certains ont été, ou pourraient être metteurs en scène (Edward Gordon Craig, Constantin Stanislavski, Nicolas Evreinov, vous, moi) — afin d’en faire œuvre, en l’occurrence dans la direction du fantastique tel que le définit Tzvetan Todorov. Cet article, qui a pour cadre la lecture du texte dramatique et la « manière de lire » impliquée par le fantastique, confronte le fantastique et le théâtre à travers le prisme de la notion d’indécidable. Après une rapide mise au point théorique, il présente ce qui se révélerait être le lieu du fantastique au théâtre : l’hésitation du spectateur, qui porte en l’occurrence sur le point de vue, compris ici comme relevant de la représentation dramatique (rapport du drame et de l’action) et scénique (rapport de la mise en scène et de la fable). En prenant appui sur Hamlet, sur la mise en scène qu’en propose Craig à Moscou et sur l’Introduction au monodrame d’Evreinov, il propose alors de réfléchir sur les modalités d’existence d’effets de focalisation interne et de fantastique au théâtre.

Cléopâtre de Syrie, protagoniste de la Rodogune de Corneille, appartient à la grande galerie des héros maléfiques, et plus particulièrement des héroïnes, que Corneille a commencé à constituer dès sa première tragédie, Médée. Cette méchanceté franche et délibérée, indiscutable, cet appétit assumé pour le mal, est en quelque sorte une marque de fabrique du grand tragédien. Elle soulève cependant des questions délicates au regard de la théorie théâtrale classique et de son inspiration aristotélicienne. Elle heurte de front la requête, formulée dans la Poétique, de « bonté » du héros tragique ? Mais comment une telle demande est-elle concevable dans l’univers tragique ? Enfin, à une époque toujours prête à polémiquer sur la moralité du théâtre, dans quelle mesure la mise en scène d’un mal radical est-elle acceptable ?

Во македонската книжевна критика и воопшто во современата македонска книжевност значајно место зазема Венко Андоновски – писател, поет, есеист, драмски автор, публицист и универзитетски професор. Овој труд претставува осврт кон книжевно-критичката и книжевно-теориската мисла што Андоновски ја презентира во книгата „Дешифрирања (литературни студии)“. Прво се презентираат општи податоци за творештвото на Андоновски, а потоа се елаборираат суштинските специфики на текстовите што се дел од оваа книга. Во заклучокот од овој труд се нагласува дека во книгата „Дешифрирања (литературни студии)“ се елаборираат суштински прашања од повеќе спознајни дисциплини како што се книжевната теорија со нејзините базни поддисциплини (наратологија, драматургија, теорија на поезијата), книжевната историја, книжевната критика, семиологијата и филозофијата.

A tézisem az alkalmazott színházi improvizáció szemléletmódjának vonatkozásait tematizálja.
Az alapgondolatom egy shakespeare-i idézet által inspirált megközelítés, miszerint az összes emberi lény, vagyis mi magunk, függetlenül attól, hogy néznek-e minket vagy sem, életszerepeket játszunk, ennélfogva folyamatosan színpadon vagyunk. A következtetésem az, hogy mindenki napi szinten improvizál, mivel a rutinszerű cselekvéseink váratlan események sorozatával vannak megtűzdelve, melyeket a legtöbb esetben tökéletesen megoldunk, azonban vannak pillanatok, amikor ledermedünk a szégyentől való félelmünk miatt. Minden egyes váratlan szituáció végkimenetele pusztán azon múlik, hogy milyen szemlélettel közelítjük meg ezeket a spontán pillanatokat. Ezáltal a tanulmányom egészét átható gondolat az az, hogy mindannyian született improvizatőrök vagyunk, akiknek birtokában állnak a rögtönzés képességei. Ha improvizációs műhelyfoglalkozásokon fejlesszük ezeket a képességeket, akkor nem csak a szociális készségeink fejlődnek, hanem ami még ennél is lényegesebb, az improvizációs szemléletet is megteremtjük. Az a tény, hogy ez a szemléletmód minden életkörülmény között alkalmazható, mutatja, hogy az improvizációnak megvan a potenciálja, hogy egy egészségesebb jóléthez vigyen közelebb minket.
Tanulmányomat egy rövid történeti áttekintővel kezdtem, az ókortól egészen a modern kori elvek megszületéséig, hogy demonstráljam, az improvizáció nem egy újonnan megszülető módszer. Ezután következtetéseket vontam le több össztársadalmi jelenséget megvizsgálva az oktatási rendszer korszerűtlenségéről, amely ilyenformán nem fektet hangsúlyt az amerikai National Education Association tanulmánya által, a 21. században legalapvetőbbnek megállapított, 4k-s készségeinek fejlesztésére, melyek a karrier, az állampolgári lét és a felsőoktatási tanulmányokhoz nélkülözhetetlenek. Bemutattam az oktatás alulról létrejövő forradalmasítását, melyhez az improvizációs műhelyek is hozzájárulnak. Megvizsgáltam, hogy mi adja az egyre népszerűbb imprós műhelyek vonzerejét a publikum számára, valamint felállítottam egy jövőkép víziót mindezek függvényében.
Elhelyeztem az alkalmazott színházi improvizációt az alkalmazott színház ernyője alá. A három éves tanulmányaimra visszatekintve megállapítottam, hogy pedagógiai tekintetben nagyon nehéz az improvizációt külön választani más színházi nevelési módszertől, főleg, mivel az improvizáció szinte az összes formát áthatja.
Az analizálás érdekében kettészedtem a műfajt és a módszert. Carol S. Dweck tanulmányán keresztül megállapítottam, hogy az improvizáció hidat tud képezni a rögzült és a fejlődő szemléletmódok között. Ennek a hídnak a létrehozásában segít Dave Morris improvizációs elvek listája.
Az utolsó fejezetben bemutattam az improvizációs csoportom által adott visszajelzéseket, akikkel fél éven át dolgoztunk. Ezek a visszacsatolások támasztották alá az improvizációs elvek pedagógiai alkalmazhatóságát, valamint azok hatását a 4k-s készségek fejlesztésére.
A tanulmányom konklúziója, hogy mindannyian született improvizatőrök vagyunk, ezáltal bátorítom az olvasót, hogy tegyen egy felfedezést olyan befogadó közösségek irányába, amelyek inspirálják és támogatják a kiteljesedést egy jobb létállapot megteremtéséhez.

My thesis themathizes the aspects of the mindset of applied theatrical improvisation.
My core idea is a philosophical approach inspired by one of Shakespeare's quotes which submits that all human beings, whether they are watched or not, plays life roles thus each and every one of us is permanently on stage. My inference is that everyone improvises each day as our routines are constantly packed with unexpected moments which in most cases are perfectly managed, though there are times we freeze due to the fear of being ashamed. The outcome of each sudden situation purely depends on the mindset with which we approach these spontaneous moments. Therefore the concept which pervades this whole study is that all of us are naturally born improvisers, who possess the skills to play it by ear. If these skills are improved by improv workshops, then not only social skills are being developed, but most importantly the improvisational mindset can be established. The fact this mindset can be applied in all walks of life shows, that improv has the potential to bring us closer to a better well-being.
I started off my study with a brief historical introduction from ancient times till the birth of modern age improvisational principles to demonstrate improvisation is not a newborn method. After that I examined a number of societal phenomena all of which pointed out how the reigning formal educational system is antiquated, hence it omits to improve those 4C skills which are determined fundamental for career, citizenship and university studies in the 21st century by the National Education Association. I introduced in what ways can improv workshops provide grassroots means of transformation in education. I contemplated what gives improvisational workshops wide appeal as well as I erected a vision for their future function.
I pursued to locate improvisation under the applied theatre umbrella. Retrospectively my entire BA course, I concluded that from an educational point of view it is very difficult to separate improvisation from most drama education methods mainly because improv pervades all.
In order to create pathway for analysis I separated genre from methodology. Grounded on the findings of the mindset study conducted by Carol S. Dweck I ascertained that improvisation can create a bridge between the fixed and the growth mindsets. Then I introduced a guideline of fundamental improv principles suggested by Dave Morris which supports the creation of the aforementioned bridge.
In my last chapter I introduced the feedbacks that were provided by my improv group with whom I worked for a semester. These feedbacks confirm how the applied improvisational principles work educationally as well as how it improves the 4C skills.
I conclude my thesis with the proof that we are truly naturally born improvisers thus I encourage the reader setting off a journey in order to explore any kind of communities which are inclusive enough to inspire, promote and assist holistical growth for a better well-being.

The primary aim of this thesis is to explore the use of theatricality in Andersonian cinema. Theatre’s considerable influence on Anderson’s cinema as well as the use of poetic and storybook aesthetics open up interpretations about the sociopolitical and ideological construction of the films. The in-depth analysis will focus on his two most recent, MOONRISE KINGDOM (2012) and THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL (2014) both of which are relatively unresearched works by film theorists and critics. The films will be analysed by exploring the narrative techniques and stylistic elements, which consist of mise-en-scène, cinematography, editing, and sound.

Desde que existe la justicia, inevitablemente existe también la injusticia. Y los seres humanos, a modo de protesta siempre hemos encontrado la manera de hacer notar nuestras inconformidades y descontentos.  Es aquí donde tiene cabida el arte, y principalmente lo que nos atañe: el teatro; este sirve como micrófono para las voces que tienen algo que decir, como espejo de virtudes y defectos, o como dijo Bertolt Brecht “como un martillo que da forma”.
Y esto mismo se hace notar en la dramaturgia mexicana contemporánea, todos y cada uno de los autores mexicanos tenían algo que denunciar y plasmar en sus obras. En las palabras de sus personajes vemos la esencia del hombre mexicano y la mujer mexicana, retratando diversas vicisitudes que se viven en nuestro país, de esta manera, cada uno de estos dramaturgos expresaban las inquietudes del pueblo mexicano, enfocándose principalmente en conflictos políticos con el gobierno, marginación, pobreza y discriminación, haciéndolo a su propia manera y con su propio estilo respectivamente.
Acercándonos a la “Nueva dramaturgia mexicana” podemos notar que el tratamiento que recibían la mayoría de los textos era de tipo realista, algunos con tintes de sátira, farsa, comedia, melodrama e incluso tragedia. Es cuando, con Elena Garro surge la inclusión del realismo mágico por primera vez en Hispanoamérica y en el teatro, sus obras, cuentan con un lenguaje sumamente poético y hechos fantásticos, y de más características que la catalogan dentro de esta corriente.

El realismo mágico surge por primera vez en 1925 por el crítico alemán Franz Roh, aludiendo a una escuela de pintura. Durante las décadas de los años 20 y 30, muchos escritores y artistas latinoamericanos viajaron a Europa para incorporarse al surrealismo, buscando los aspectos sobrenaturales necesarios para crear una realidad basada en los sueños y el subconsciente, en su regreso a América, se dieron cuenta que no era necesario buscar en el extranjero, sino que esa misma realidad extraña se encontraba en su propia tierra, en las palabras de los abuelos indígenas, en las historias y leyendas de sus propias culturas y países; aquí en Latinoamérica se vivía en una realidad afincada a los sueños y la magia.
El realismo mágico es una corriente literaria cuyos rasgos principales son la desgarradura de la realidad por una acción fantástica descrita de un modo realista dentro de la narrativa donde se pretende ver y hacer ver que lo común y cotidiano tiene un componente extraño, atemporal y fantástico. El realismo mágico expresa una alteración milagrosa de la realidad, donde los elementos fantásticos, mágicos y fabulosos convergen perfectamente con la realidad, y de esta manera no son por sí mismos el elemento fundamental del argumento, sino una parte más del entorno en que el autor sitúa su obra.

Óscar Liera es considerado como uno de los creadores escénicos mexicanos más importantes de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, perteneciente a la “Nueva Dramaturgia Mexicana”. Tenemos la dramaturgia de Liera dividida en tres partes; en la primera, los personajes luchan contra la sociedad y terminan deglutiéndose en sí mismos. En la segunda etapa, vemos como hecho predominante la aparición de un protagonista que, sin salvarse de la destrucción, se eleva de la mediocridad antes genérica y por último, en su tercera etapa como dramaturgo, se aprecia un notable tratamiento hacia el realismo mágico, una clara visión política y las notables raíces de su país y sobre todo de su lugar de origen Sinaloa.
Perteneciente a esta última etapa es "El camino rojo a Sabaiba", escrita en 1988, y está considerada como la más importante de este autor por la complejidad de su estructura y su riqueza de relatos, pero sobre todo la esencia mexicana, también, de acuerdo a las referencias ya mencionadas, esta última es catalogada dentro del realismo mágico.

Camino rojo a Sabaiba relata de cómo el teniente Fabián Romero vuelve al pueblo Sabaiba, el lugar de sus orígenes que él desconoce. Allí es recibido por los espíritus de los muertos quienes poco a poco lo ayudan a conocer la historia de sus antepasados y del destino colectivo de Sabaiba, pueblo condenado a causa de las pasiones y la venganza, los sueños e ilusiones y sobre todo regidos por un cacicazgo yermo, desembocando en múltiples injusticias, las cuales poco a poco se dejan entrever.
Como Macondo para Gabriel García Márquez, o Comala para Juan Rulfo, Sabaiba es un espacio ficticio, creado por el mismo Liera: un pueblo imaginario, donde se muestran la brutalidad y esterilidad del caciquismo; la pasión amorosa, así como la convivencia entre vivos y muertos. La acción se sitúa en una pequeña provincia de Sinaloa, dando saltos de tiempo entre el periodo revolucionario y la época actual, y se desarrolla principalmente en el castillo de Aztlán, que se encontraba muy cerca del mar y rodeado de vegetación.

Der Aufsatz geht der Frage nach, ob der Chor, der Schiller zufolge auf die Verkörperung auf der Bühne angewiesen ist, im Theatertext Funktionen erfüllen kann, die über die Implikation der Aufführung hinausgehen. Exemplarisch wird in Stücken von Heiner Müller, Tankred Dorst und Elfriede Jelinek nach Momenten gesucht, in denen der Chor durch Sprechakte eine Ebene der Inszenierung in den Text integriert und so eine Unabhängigkeit von der Aufführung auf der Bühne erreicht.
