This paper discusses the ideas and process of developing a mobile locator application for Vulcanizing Shops in Siargao Island with Global Positioning System (GPS) and Google Map Application Programming Interface (API). This mobile application is an innovation tool to show the location, availability and services of the vehicle services shops available in the island to ease the hassle of the tourists with vehicle errors. It also provides shortest possible route method that includes relevant information about the services of the shops. The study adopts the Rapid Application Development model and used ISO 9126 to evaluate the application in terms of usability (4.37), functionality (4.13) and Maintainability (4.20). Therefore, the application is certain to provide a significant support to the local and foreign tourists; therefore, providing an accurate and hassle time-free locating a vulcanizing shops.

Low salinity and carbonated water flooding have been investigated as possible techniques of improved/enhanced oil recovery. Carbonated water injection consists of dissolving carbon dioxide CO2 in water prior to injection and could be considered as a way to store greenhouse gas safely. Low salinity water flooding is a process of diluting high salinity injection water to a very low level of salinity. In this article, we analyze the perception of Saudi state application users about password selection from real-world data. A total of 1,082 participants provided information about their behavior on state applications. The study extracts useful information related to the users’ weak practices. The findings include useful information representing thousands of minds and individual behaviors in using state applications. As a contribution to the area, it is found that the state applications were developed properly regarding security practices. However, users still represent the weakest party, and they are not aware of the proper practices they should follow. Thus, extensive effort is required to be spent on user education. On the other hand, the diversity of state applications may represent an extra effort to users in the way that they have separate passwords for each application, which makes a unified login portal for all the state applications the appropriate solution.

In an Optical Burst Switched (OBS) network, data packets sourced from peripheral networks are assembled into huge sized data bursts. For each assembled data burst, an associated control signal in the form of a burst control packet is (BCP) is generated and scheduled at an offset time ahead of the data burst. The offset timing is to allow for the pre-configuration of required resources at all subsequent intermediate nodes prior to the actual data burst’s arrival. In that way, the data burst will fly-by each node and hence no requirement for temporary buffering at all intermediate nodes.
