moreThe study aimed to determine the problems of First Year Engineering Students on Speech Apprehension in the virtual classroom during pandemic. The study was conducted using quantitative non-experimental with descriptive survey method. Results revealed that the problems in speaking performance have garnered a mean of 3.10 (moderate) as descriptive equivalent and it was found out that the prevailing problem is anxiety with a mean of 3.84, interpreted as high. Thus, an intervention program is designed to address the problems in speaking performance of the respondents. This program is divided into two: Overcoming Speaking Anxiety Seminar Workshop and Speaking Enhancement Activities.
