moreThis paper examines two Spanish ballad-types, 'Delgadina' and ' Silvana', both dealing with the topic of father-daughter incest, and various ballads from the Balkans dealing with the same topic. The treatment of this topic is analysed through a comparison method showing various approaches to the topic that can been seen in the Iberian Peninsula, among the Sephardim and in the Balkans, both among Slavs and Muslims.
