"Heididorf" in der Schweiz inszeniert sich als reale Heimat von Spyris Heidi. Es ist vermutlich kein Zufall, dass als Leitthema und Zugpferd für touristische Inszenierungen gerne auf KinderbuchautorInnen oder Narrative und Charaktere aus der Kinderliteratur zurückgegriffen wird. Der literarische Ort ist hier eine fiktional erzeugte Welt, die vom Publikum konkret-räumlich begangen und erfahren werden kann - und inzwischen zu einer eigenständigen Narration ausgebaut ist. Der Beitrag untersucht, durch welche Attraktionen und Aktivitäten die Erlebniswelt "Heididorf" gekennzeichnet ist und welche Rolle die literarischen Ausgangstexte und Adaptionen in der Inszenierung spielen.

Heidi in Yugoslav Translations: Zhdanovism
in Children’s Literature

Based on the most recent positions of translation studies, particularly those
that take into consideration the specfic problems of translating for children, this
paper offers an overview of Johanna Spyri’s Heidi different translations on the Yugoslav
territory from 1942 to 1990. By comparing different translations, abridged
and adapted versions, we arrive to the conclusion that the existing variants of this
children’s classic have largely been determined by dominant ideologies, and that an
analysis of the deviations from the original, as well as the paratextual and extra-textual
elements (forewords, afterwords, illustrations, polemics surrounding the Heidi
publications in socialist Yugoslavia) can help constitute an implicit poetics of translating
for children in socialist Yugoslavia. We demonstrate that the text was, in some
instances, censored, either with the translator’s knowledge and permission, or by
completely disregarding him; some later translators, in turn, implicitly polemicised
with the censored versions or even appropriated portions of some supressed translations.
Finally, we conclude that the low status of translations for children, coupled

with a lack of respect for the textual integrity of children’s literature, brought on the
present situation: Heidi’s original form is practically unknown in today’s Serbia.

İlk uyarlamasına henüz daha sessiz sinemanın salonlara egemen olduğu 1921 yılında denk geldiğimiz Heidi, İkinci Dünya Savaşı’nın hemen arefesinde 1937’de ilk defa uzun metrajlı ve sesli bir uyarlamaya kavuşur. Ancak yine de, Heidi’nin hem dünyada hem de Türkiye’de bu kadar şöhret kazanmasında kuşkusuz Isao Takahata’nın yönetmenliğinde ve Hayao Miyazaki’nin baş animatörlüğünde ortaya konulan “Heidi: Girl of the Alps” (Arupusu no Shōjo Haiji,1975) isimli Japon anime dizisi ciddi pay sahibidir. Bu anime, Takahata’nın kariyerinde Studio Ghibli’nin kuruluşundan önceki erken bir döneme ait olmasına rağmen, Miyazaki’nin deyimiyle “Takahata’nın yaptığı en iyi iş” olarak kabul edilebilir. Zira “Heidi: Girl of the Alps” dizisinin, ilerleyen dönemlerde hem Miyazaki’nin hem de Takahata’nın filmlerinde kendisine yer bulacak olan ekoeleştirel yaklaşımların ve tabiat sevgisi temasının ilham kaynaklarından birisini teşkil ettiğini söylemek mübalağa olmasa gerektir. Zira Johanna Spyri, ünlü romanını her ne kadar 1880-1881 yıllarında yayımlamışsa da, hem anime dizinin çekildiği 1975 yılında hem de günümüzde halen eserin işlediği meselelerin tazeliğini belirli ölçüde koruduğu görülecektir.

En este artículo proponemos una lectura de la novela Heidi, de Johanna Spyri, a partir de una célebre edición portuguesa de 1960 continuamente reeditada, tanto porque le reconocemos valor literario como porque vemos en ella mensajes de gran profundidad humana o social. Especialmente, procuraremos mostrar que el atractivo de esta obra de la literatura infantil y juvenil procede de su construcción como un texto cuyos temas esenciales (la infancia, la naturaleza, la casa y la familia) le garantizan, junto a la calidad de la escritura y de las opciones narrativas, un alcance universal.
En Portugal y en otros países, tal como ya ocurrió en la década de los años 70 del siglo pasado, los públicos infantil, juvenil y adulto conocen actualmente a la pequeña Heidi más por las películas y por las series de dibujos animados que por la novela Heidi. También conviene decir que, a pesar del éxito editorial de Heidi, no existe en Portugal, que sepamos, ni un solo estudio científico, ya sea en forma de libro o de artículo, sobre esta obra de Johanna Spyri. Con este artículo queremos contribuir para promover la lectura de este libro y la discusión sobre un personaje e una historia internacional.

El presente artículo investiga el tratamiento traslativo de los elementos culturales en las traducciones españolas de la novela Heidi de Johanna Spyri. Para ello, se realiza un análisis empírico-descriptivo con datos recabados en la Biblioteca Nacional de España. Se pretende, por un lado, identificar los marcadores culturales presentes en la obra original en alemán y agruparlos según el ámbito referencial al que pertenecen y, por otro, cotejar y valorar las técnicas empleadas para traducirlos en diferentes versiones en español.

This article deals with the Swiss International Radio and its transcultural mediation of Swiss culture during the Cold War (Cultural Diplomacy). It will focus on the political and aesthetic strategy of the Swiss International Radio and the way in which Switzerland was represented abroad, using the example of the Arabic Service of the Swiss Radio International and its adaption of the famous novel “Heidi” by Swiss author Johanna Spyri.

Radio formt als Akteur Klang- und Hörwelten. An zwei Beispielen aus dem Übersee-Programm des Schweizerischen Kurzwellendienstes wird gezeigt, wie die Schweiz für eine ausländische Hörerschat in Szene gesetzt wurde. Inszenierung wird hier als Prozess im Rahmen der Radioproduktion verstanden, durch den über eine Verknüpfung von sprachlich-inhaltlichen, musikalischen und geräuschhaten Elementen imaginäre Lebenswelten der Schweiz zur Zeit des Kalten Kriegs geschaffen wurden. In der Sendung des englischsprachigen Dienstes aus der Reihe «Don't just stay here-do something» von 1975 wurde die Schweiz über die Präsentation wenig bekannter Bergsportarten als aussergewöhnliche Wintersportdestination dargestellt. Als Beispiel für eine zweite Form der Inszenierung von alpiner Kultur dient ein Hörspiel des Arabischen Dienstes, für das Johanna Spyris bekannter Roman Heidi die Vorlage war. Indem die gestalterischen Strategien hinter den beiden Sendungen analysiert werden, lassen sich Unterschiede der radiophonen Präsentation von alpiner Kultur der Schweiz erkennen, die abschliessend in einem geopolitischen Kontext relektiert werden.

La storia di Heidi è un classico della letteratura per l’infanzia da oltre centotrent’anni. Il romanzo della scrittrice svizzera Johanna Spyri che ne propone per la prima volta le avventure viene, infatti, pubblicato nel 1880 e diventa velocemente un riferimento essenziale per la gioventù tedesca del tempo, in un contesto continentale in piena e galoppante industrializzazione. Natura incontaminata, montagna, pascoli e caprette vengono, allora, arruolati contro la città e la modernità in difesa di un Volk tanto montanaro quanto, in fin dei conti, autentico.
