تعد المقررات المفتوحة واسعة النطاق على الأنترنت MOOC موارد رقمية متاحة على شبكات اجتماعية لجميع المهتمين (طلبة – متدربين – مدربين – أعضاء هيئة تدريس – خبراء) في ذات المجال للوصول لها بمجانية من خلال منصات لإدارتها وتنظيمها، ويتم تحقيق مخرجات التعلم ضمن جدول زمني محدد لاكتسابها، وضمن سياسات محددة لتناول محتويات الموارد الرقمية، حيث تمكنهم من الاشتراك في بعض أو كل أنشطة المقرر من خلال الفيديوهات والحوار والمناقشة والمنتديات ومنصات التواصل الاجتماعي.
إلا انه لا يوجد معايير لتصميم مثل تلك البيئات في البيئة العربية، لذا هدف البحث إلى إعداد قائمة بمعايير تصميم بيئات المقررات المفتوحة واسعة النطاق على الأنترنت MOOC ومن ثم تقييم مدى توافر هذه المعايير في بعض بيئات MOOC العربية، حيث استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واستخلصت قائمة بالمعايير التي يجب توافرها عند تصميم بيئات MOOC، وكذلك بطاقة تقييم بيئات  MOOC، ثم قامت الباحثة باختيار عينة عشوائية من بيئات  MOOCالعربية بلغ عددها (10) بيئات، وإجراء تقييم لها في ضوء تلك المعايير المستخلصة، وأظهرت نتائج البحث التزام معظم المنصات العربية ببعض هذه المعايير أثناء التصميم، حيث توافر معياري الثقة، والاستحداث والقابلية للتطوير بدرجة كبيرة حيث بلغت أوزانهم النسبية (73% -71,67%) على الترتيب، بينما راعت تلك المنصات بدرجة متوسطة معايير محتوى التعلم قابل للفهم بوزن نسبي65%، يليه معيار البيئة جاذبة ومثيرة بوزن نسبي58,33%، ثم يليه معيار التقييم والقابلية للقياس بوزن نسبي 58%، في حين لم تراعي المنصات معيار أعضاء هيئة التدريس بدرجة مناسبة حيث بلغ الوزن النسبي له 43,75%.

Over the years many reasons have been cited as Africa’s poor economic growth. And indeed it is a critical issue which have been appearing in many papers, magazines and both international and local journals around the globe. The web as well as other electronic media cannot be ruled out; they always have their share of the story. To address such an important issue we first have to recognize the facts involved to find suitable solutions to curb the situation. This paper gives a brief outline of some of the possible reasons for Africa’s poor economic grow. The later will provide short possible key learning from the identified problems in this paper and a couple of recommendations to curb the problem.
