As  the  world’s  oldest  living  religion,  Hinduism  has  some  ancient
features that have not been modified or edited to suit more refined modern tastes, that generally avoid raising many stark issues of life. In fact, until some young ladies began discussing their biological cycles before males  in colleges, universities and in public fora very recently, much to the horror of their  mothers  and  grandmothers.  The  subject  of  monthly  cycles  had deliberately been kept out of any conversation, except in whispers. India could  thus  be  commended,  for  observing  for  several  centuries, certain festivals that other religions ignored.
One of them symbolises the menstruation of mother goddess: Ambubachi. This worship of the earth, of course, was to ensure  bountiful crops and vegetation and the concepts of Shri Devi, Maha Lakshmi, and Durga as Shakambhari are all very old and just a few among the  countless forms of such worship. Ancient Hinduism was clear that it was inevitable to go through this dynamic cycle of barrenness and fertility, and that it calls for public celebration not condemnation.

The increasing rate of life expectancy, declining infant death and a high but falling birth rate in the country have created major demand for housing and infrastructure for meeting the human's primary want. Now-a-days most of the families are becoming nuclear family and most of the people are independent and they prefer to stay independently with their small family. This has also contributed to the growth of real estate. But in this growth four principal problems have been identified while examining thoroughly during the course of a field survey. These are: Land related problems, Statutory and other compliances, Labour related problems and Materials related problems. In this paper the authors have endeavoured to analyse these problems faced by the real estate developers in executing the projects in Guwahati. Present study is based on randomly selected 20 real estate developers (RED) located in Guwahati. A schedule of questions has been used for the purpose. Five point Likert scale have been used to measure the seriousness of the problems faced by the real estate developers in Guwahati city. It has been found that land related problems are the most serious among these four main problem areas in case of real estate projects in Guwahati. Next to it are labour related problems. Availability of sincere and experienced workers at site is dependent on the labour contractor. In case of compliance with the statutory requirements most of the respondents have opined that it is not a so serious matter provided all the documents are in order. To conclude it may be said that there is a good prospect of real estate projects in Guwahati if the city is expanded to the new areas in northern and western side which will also solve the problem of scarcity of land.

Older cities pre-existing the founding of modern Guwahati city were important trade centers in the Indian eastern region. From the nineteenth century, the colonial regime began reorganizing the spaces in Indian urban centers through town planning schemes. The article investigates how town planning schemes and modern urban planning in Guwahati city changed the forms and locations of the public markets with the city's outwards expansion. An exploratory approach was taken to review the archival and documentary material available on Guwahati's public markets, including the publicly available historical maps and master plans to understand the public rationale for the changes. Although ideas of change and development were inducted into the city land-use plans, the article yields an answer to the problem of why successive master plans have failed to get the natural development of the city public markets to follow the urban planning goals for the city.

The objectivity of the engineering is to perform the task in an optimal way and this could be done by selection of prominent material to use in that engineering. When we say material, this means we are going to deal property like physical and mechanical properties under the desirable parameter like cost, availability and also environment. But environment is very important in the process to explore the environment. So finding eco-friendly, renewable kind of material which is fewer hazards and minimizing the use of conventional kind of material is big challenge for us when we do not compromise the quality and cost of it. For this purpose the composite material can be one answer in which natural fiber with less quantity with conventional kind of material are used. Modern testing methods are required to be in use and especially for the composite the test procedure should be strictly follow with eliminating the uncertainty of procedure. As a solution hybrid composite material can be use as it gives improved mechanical, physical and thermal properties and also allow using natural material as per our objective.
