Publicată în septembrie 2020 la Editura Ratio et Revelatio din Oradea, cartea prezintă un istoric al Misiunii Scoțiene pentru Evreii din Iași, care a fost fondată ca rezultat direct al așa-numitei Mission of Inquiry, în urma vizitării Principatelor Române de liderii scoțieni Robert Murray M'Cheyne și Andrew Bonar. Pe lângă demersul istoriografic, lucrarea oferă o perspectivă holistă asupra dezvoltării preocupării misionare pentru evrei în rândul protestanților și evanghelicilor, cât și asupra evoluției acesteia până în ziua de azi.

In 2020, researchers from “Paul Păltănea” History Museum of Galați and the “Lower Danube Museum” of Călărași carried out an archaeological preventive research in the area of Tirighina tumular necropolis, where a private company was developing a warehouse. The imminence of a potential disruption of the archaeological strata by the construction led to the excavation of a total area of 1960 m2, in a single dig unit called S1 (Surface 1). During the archaeological investigations, we were able to identify a part of the 2nd-3rd century Roman necropolis, a defensive ditch which protected the Roman fort from Barboși and a series of earth works from the First World War.

"Il volume propone un'edizione ampiamente commentata di Supplementum Hellenisticum 958 e 969, due frammenti in distici elegiaci databili al III - II secolo a.C. Entrambi possono essere messi in relazione con l'invasione dei Galati in Grecia e in Asia Minore, e in particolare i con la repressione della rivolta dei mercenari galati di Tolemeo II, celebrata da Callimaco nell'Inno a Delo. L'introduzione fa il punto sui precedenti dell'elegia storica e sull'ambiente socioculturale in cui si sviluppò la poesia encomiastica alessandrina; arricchisce il commento ai frammenti un'esauriente ricostruzione storica dei tormentati rapporti tra i Galati e i regni ellenistici.

Commented edition of two fragments of Hellenistic (most probably Ptolemaic) encomiastic elegy, Supplementum Hellenisticum 969 and 958, dealing with the Galatian invasion in Asia Minor and with the rebellion of Galatian mercenaries in Egypt suppressed by Ptolemy II Philadelphos (cf. Callimachos Hymn to Delos).
