Fluidity

Devoid of a circumscribed landscape of its own postmodern fiction is rather fluid and unstable enhancing its exuberant and experimental nature, and a large segment of contemporary fiction is characterized by its attributes. Contemporary Asian Australian poets have recently begun to attract more attention, particularly with the publication of the anthology, edited by Adam Aitken, Kim Cheng Boey and Michelle Cahill, Contemporary Asian Australian Poets. This essay engages with three of these poets: Debbie Lim, Shen and James Stuart, and reads their poems through a diasporic lens. Contrary to scholarship that investigates belonging using the more orthodox ideas of home and land, this reading engages with fluidity and mobility through the depictions of water to better represent the diasporic experience. Further, these poems employ desire and the desiring subject to engage with the way diasporic belonging is figured as contested and contingent. Each of these elements will be explored in the poems in order to investigate the link between diasporic belonging and depictions of water.

Fluidity is about materials in motion – materials active and activated, mobile and mobilised. It addresses processes of change, movement, and agency in a wide range of contexts and on diverse spatial-temporal scales: from local to global, molecular to infrastructural, natural to industrial, instantaneous and short-lived to creeping and geo-historical, from inorganic substances to living organisms.

Fluidity relates to intricate entanglements and far-reaching mixtures of actual materials rather than to a general flux of matter. Moreover, it involves rhetorical tropes, material imaginations, and theoretical challenges. Flows and circulations of materials are rarely smooth, uniform, frictionless, and free; instead, they are often messy, unsteady, viscous, turbulent or erosive, and sometimes disastrous.

This volume contributes to a critical cultural rheology examining the material complexities, epistemic functions, political ramifications, and ecological dimensions of fluidity

An investigation has been carried out to study the influence of pouring temperature, degasification, mould pre¬heat temperature and alloy composition on the casting fluidity. The results include that higher the pouring and mould pre-heat temperature greater the casting fluidity. The fluidity was found to be directly proportional to the silica content in the alloy composition. 1.2% tetra - chlorethane treatment promoted maximum fluidity.

The present work was aimed to assess the influence of Si content, superheat, modification and mould preheat temperature on the fluidity. The fluidity spirals were made using alumina filler materials and the colloidal silica binder. The fluid increases with the increase of Si content, super heat and shell mould preheat temperature, but decreases with Sr modification.

The present work was intended to judge the influence of superheat and mould preheat temperature on the fluidity of 6xxx Al-alloys. The fluidity spirals were made using magnesia filler materials and the colloidal silica binder. The fluid increases with the increase of super heat and shell mould preheat temperature. The fluidity was higher for 6061 Al-alloy than that of 6013 Al-alloy.

The objective of the present work was to find the influence of Cu content, superheat and mould preheat temperature on the fluidity. The fluidity spirals were made using cristobalite/fused silica filler materials and the colloidal silica binder. The fluid increases with the increase of Cu content, super heat and shell mould preheat temperature. The flow of Al-Cu eutectic alloy ceases due to the pinching by the grains. The flow of Al-Cu hypoeutectic alloy stops due to the choking effect.

Abstract The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the application of Information and communication technology (ICT) skills on the process of knowledge management components and the effectiveness of creativity indicators for the improvement of employees' performance system in the Ministry of Sports and Youth. This study was an applied and correlational research. The statistical population of this study was all employees in the Ministry of Sports and Youth of Guilan province. The collected data were analysed by K-S tests, the Kruskal-Wallis test, the Mann-Whitney U test, Spearman correlation coefficient and regression analysis. The results showed that 54.43% of subjects were men and 40.57% of them were women, 52.85% of them had associate and bachelor's degrees, 38.85% of them had a master's degree and 1.72% of them had doctorate and were PhD students. The results also showed that the correlation coefficient of the relationship between ICT with knowledge management components was 0.369 and ICT with creativity indicators was 0.291. Since there is a significant relationship between the research variables, so it is suggested to use online methods, multimedia methods, virtual trainings and virtual libraries to increase employees' knowledge management components and creativity indicators in the Ministry of Sport and Youth.

Die sogenannte „Rückkehr der Wölfe" stellt viele Menschen in Europa und in Deutschland vor besondere Herausforderungen. Viele Menschen in ländlichen Milieus, die in besonderem Maße von den Effekten dieser Rückkehr betroffen sind, reagieren ablehnend auf die tierlichen Rückkehrer*innen. Dies hängt nicht zuletzt mit traumatischen Erlebnissen zusammen, die manche Tierhaltende durch das Beutegreifverhalten mancher Wölfe auf ihre Tiere erleiden. Der vorliegende Beitrag liest die Rückkehr der Wölfe als Teil der dramatischen Veränderungen der Welt im beginnenden 21. Jahrhundert. Mit diesen Veränderungen verbunden sind im gesamten Globalen Norden tiefgreifende Verhaltens- und Einstellungsänderungen, auch gegenüber anderen als menschlichen Lebewesen. L’article s’intéresse spécifiquement à la performance d’Isabelle Choinière " Phase 5", en collaboration avec l’artiste visuelle Fernanda d’Agostino  pour Generativity, une exposition présentée en 2016 à Seattle (Etats-Unis). Ce travail d’exploration met en lien une radicalisation des principes de la danse contact et l’exploration des principes d’auto-organisation multi-sensoriels dans l’éducation somatique avec les structures auto-organisationnelles naturelles. J’analyserai la corporéité ainsi construite par l’intermédiaire d’interfaces médiatiques et technologiques comme une réflexion politique sur l’identité au sein du collectif et plus encore sur le lien humain-environnement. J’avancerai ainsi l’hypothèse que cette performance reformule un rapport au monde et à l’identité qui devient alors transindividuel et non-anthropocentriste.

Phase 5 explores a radicalization of the principles of contact dance and the experimentation of phenomena of multi-sensory self-organization in a somatic approach echoing with natural self-organizing structures. Built through media and technological interfaces, corporality positions itself as a political reflection on identity within the collective and, to go further, on the human-environment link. I will thus give the hypothesis that this performance reformulates one’s relationship to the world and identity, then becoming transindividual and anti-anthropocentrist.
