Setting fire at a crime scene, either before or after another offence, has the potential to destroy evidence and increase the likelihood of the crime remaining unsolved. When deliberately lit fires are used as a weapon in violent crimes, they have the potential to cause significant damage and to injure or kill victims, including unintended victims. The associated danger to the public from firesetting is much greater than if a more controllable criminal tool is used by the offender.Despite the development of several theories of adult firesetting behaviour (Canter & Fritzon 1998; Dickens & Sugarman 2012; Doley et al. 2011 ; Fritzon 2012; Gannon & Pina 2010; Gannon et al. 2012), the topic of fire-setting as it relates to fatal fires or homicide has been the focus of little empirical investigation. It is a legal sample of case file as a syllabus content of L.L.B. Second year from Tribhuvan University Nepal. It comprises all the case files from F.I.R. to the police station along with all the legal papers prepared by police and documents submitted to court for jurisdiction. All the procedure done by court in presence of justice, lawyer, witness, suspectee all are taken under consideration and final judgement is then ordered by Judge. These all things are included in this sample case file called MOOT COURT.

The study is based on an examination of faculty admission papers and analyses of the regional composition of the student body at the Faculty of Law in the period from the establishment of the modern university in Zagreb in 1874 until the end of World War I. By applying quantitative analysis, the author considers whether the University of Zagreb, specifically the Faculty of Law, accomplished the goals set forth by its founders to play a significant role in connecting the long-separated parts of the Croatian lands and become a centre of enlightenment for all South Slavic peoples. Another issue discussed in the paper is the question of student circulation. It examines student mobility and provides insight into the extent to which law students in Zagreb combined their legal with academic education at universities abroad, especially in the major university centres of the Habsburg Monarchy. With regard to the political context and Austrian legislation stipulating the reciprocity of diplomas, the correlations between these two categories, student regional background, and student circulation can be underscored.

Il candelabro di Erfurt, denominato Wolfram, è una delle sculture più importanti del XII secolo. Il saggio tenta di dimostrare, sulla base di fonti scritte, che la scultura faceva parte della suppellettile liturgica della chiesa di S. Maria (Marienkirche) nella città di Erfurt fin dall'inizio. Il punto di inizio è la menzione della scultura negli statuti della Facoltà di Giurisprudenza dell'Università di Erfurt nel 1425. La tradizione liturgica della Chiesa di Santa Maria, i suoi statuti, creati alla fine del Duecento, e la venerazione di santo Ivo, iniziata nell'ultimo terzo del Trecento ancor prima della fondazione dell'Università di Erfurt, sono trattati e discussi.

The candelabra or candleholder named Wolfram in Erfurt belongs to the most important sculptures of the 12th century. This essay attempts to show, on the basis of written sources, that the sculpture has in fact been part of the liturgical equipment of Erfurt's St. Mary's Church (Marienkirche) from the outset. The starting point is the mention of the sculpture in the statutes of the Faculty of Law of the University of Erfurt in 1425. The liturgical tradition at St. Mary's Church, its statutes, which originated at the end of the 13th century, and the veneration of St. Ivo, which began in the last third of the 14th century even before the founding of the University of Erfurt, are touched upon and discussed.

Abstrak Surat izin usaha merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting untuk pengusaha untuk memulai usahanya, ialah salah satu wujud pemberian izin dari pemerintah kepada pihak yang mempunyai usaha untuk menjalankan usahanya secara resmi. Yang dimana perizinan ini mengartikan kepada pemberian legalitas kepada seseorang atau pelaku usaha/kegiatan tertentu, baik dalam bentuk izin maupun tanda daftar usaha. Izin ialah salah satu instrumen yang paling banyak digunakan dalam hukum administrasi, untuk mengemudikan tingkah laku para warga. Apalagi Sebagai Pangan industri rumah tangga (PIRT), pengusaha sangat memerlukan surat izin agar dapat mengedarkan produk-produknya yang terjamin keamanannya. Dikarnakan itu sangat penting, penulis disini akan membahas tentang prosedur pengurusan surat perizinan tersebut dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode Penelitian Kualitatif untuk menjelaskan mengenai Implementasi terhadap pengurusan surat perizinan tersebut.

ABSTRAK Artikel ini dilatarbelakangi bahwa lahan pertanian pangan memiliki fungsi strategis secara sosial, ekonomi dan religius bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Alih fungsi lahan apabila tidak diantisipasi akan mengancam ketahanan, kemandirian dan kedaulatan pangan petani dan masyarakat. Lahan pertanian semakin berkurang dan pihak-pihak yang melanggar syarat-syarat alih fungsi yang ditetapkan akan dikenai Sanksi Administratif dan Sanksi Pidana. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menelaah akibat hukum alih fungsi lahan pertanian yang tidak sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 41 Tahun 2009 tentang Perlindungan Lahan Pertanian Pangan Berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan berfikir analogis analistis, jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian hukum normatif, sifat penelitian ini deskriptif analitik, sumber data dari data sekunder, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan penelitian kajian pustaka dan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis normatif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat bahwa ada akibat hukum apabila melakukan alih fungsi lahan pertanian yang tidak sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 41 Tahun 2009 tentang Perlindungan Lahan Pertanian Pangan Berkelanjutan. ABSTRACT This article is backed up that food farming has strategic functions socially, economically and religious for the people of Indonesia. Land control if not anticipated will threaten the resilience, independence and sovereignty of food farmers and society. Agricultural land is diminishing and the parties that violate the conditions of the specified function are subject to administrative sanctions and criminal sanctions. The purpose of this research is to study the consequences of agricultural land function that is not in accordance with law number 41 year 2009 on Sustainable food farming land protection. This research method uses analytic analysis thinking, this type of research using normative legal research, the nature of this research descriptive analytic, data sources from secondary data, data collection techniques using research studies Libraries and data analysis techniques using qualitative normative analyses. The results of this research to provide information to the public that there is a legal result if the function of agricultural land that is not in accordance with the Law No. 41 year 2009 on land protection of sustainable food farming.

The University in Zagreb and its Faculty of Law played a significant role in educating Bulgarian youth, although it represented only one point of their higher education. At the turn of the century, it was a place of study of future Bulgarian law professionals, judges, lawyers, civil servants. In this paper according to the faculty admission documents (nacijonali), containing various personal data, the Bulgarian student population on the Faculty of Law is analyzed through different aspects. In the period from the foundation of the modern university in Zagreb and the beginning of the First World War, on its Faculty of Law studied 310 students from Bulgaria, with the note that the number trend was unbalanced. Svetislav Sapunov Mylarov, a famous Bulgarian public worker, journalist, and politician was the first Bulgarian student inscribed in Zagreb in 1875. The highest number of Bulgarian enrollment was in the academic year 1906/1907. The cause for such an increase was in a university crisis and in the suspension of classes at the University of Sofia.
In the respect to their confessional belonging, Bulgarian students in Zagreb were a homogenous group (Orthodox). On the other side, their social background was highly heterogeneous, with the dominance of middle-class members, mainly sons of the merchants. According to the place of their origin, Bulgarian students at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb were from various Bulgarian regions. Most of them came from towns Sofia, Trnovo, Ruse, Tatar Pazardjik, Pleven, Sliven, Vidim, Varna, Drenovo, Ćirpan, Gabrovo, Plovdiv, and Stara Zagora. Most of the Bulgarian students came to Zagreb after finishing few semesters at some other universities, mostly at the University in Sofia (223 of them), following by those who had studied abroad before coming to Zagreb (in Belgrade, Geneva, Lausanne, Bern, Zürich, Prag, Freiburg, Bruxelles). Besides the anomaly, as it was a students’ strike in Sofia in 1906/1907, this fluctuation between universities was a frequent students’ custom of that period. By analyzing the length of study in Zagreb, most of the Bulgarian students attended classes only one or two semesters (198 of them were enrolled for only one semester), while a minority of them studied longer at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb (by one of them studied six, seven and eight semesters). This shows that Zagreb was a short-term university station for Bulgarian students, but despite that, knowing other aspects of their study in the Croatian capital city, the University of Zagreb had a significant influence on Bulgarian academic youth.

Abstrak Penelitian ini berjudul Proses Pendaftaran Hak Merek Bakpia Sembilan Klaten. Tulisan ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui proses pendaftaran merek dalam perdagangan barang dan jasa khususnya di Indonesia. Pendaftaran Hak Merek sangatlah penting karena maraknya pelanggaran terhadap hak merek yang terjadi di Indonesia. Dasar hukum yang mengatur tentang Hak Merek terdapat dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2016. Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2016 tentang Merek dan Indikasi Geografis bahwa merek menjadi sangatlah penting terutama dalam menjaga persaingan antar pengusaha dan merek dapat dikenal oleh masyarakat luas melalui promosi melalui iklan yang menarik atas barang dan jasa yang menggunakan merek tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan yuridis empiris yang bersifat deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik studi lapangan dan pustaka yang kemudian data penelitian diolah menjadi data kualitatif. Permohonan proses pendaftaran merek diajukan secara tertulis menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dengan mencantumkan syarat-syarat yang sudah ditentukan oleh Direktorat Jenderal HKI. Merek dagang yang tidak didaftarkan tidak akan mendapatkan perlindungan hukum dari Negara ketika merek mereka ditiru oleh orang lain. Pemilik merek diharapkan mendaftarkan merek dagangnya untuk memperoleh perlindungan hukum.

Supporting and enhancing the diversity of our students' first year experience (FYE) requires that all of our institutional aspects – our philosophies, strategies and structures, our polices, processes and practices, and particularly our first year learning and teaching approaches and related support delivery – are integrated, coordinated and intentional in aid of early student learning, engagement and success. While this might seem trite, as observed in 2005 when reviewing a decade of Australian research into our students’ FYE, "first year support efforts have tended to be piecemeal in the main, developed and sustained by individuals or small groups who champion the cause of first year transition. The book deals with the history of the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University, Brno.

The aim of this paper is to give a critic view of specific regulations of the University of Banja Luka, which contains parts on student assessment and evaluation of their knowledge. Also, the goal of this paper is to encourage action for different interpretation/modification of these unfair provisions. These provisions, although only a fraction of the typhoon that was brought by the application of the so-called Bologna declaration on the University, is a retrograde force which scatters the light that needs to be interwoven into the estimation of the amount of student’s knowledge. Faculty of Law and students who study law there, felt and still feel the massacre of the knowledge-hungry spirit, due to bureaucratic obstacles imposed by university rules.

This paper explores the elements necessary for a university to create an academic model for a successful work-integrated learning experience in light of the current policy imperatives of the higher education sector in Australia. It identifies some of the practical issues encountered in attempting to implement those models and hypothesises on what an effective work-integrated learning experience for undergraduate law students should look like taking into account the available research on students’ perceptions of engaging learning experiences. It culminates in the proposal of a Virtual Work Integrated Learning Project which is currently under design in the Faculty of Law at the Queensland University of Technology.

Research is currently considered to be central to Australia’s success in the global knowledge economy. To improve Australia’s position, the Commonwealth Government has developed a new research paradigm. This paradigm emphasises research outcomes and excellence in research training. The government’s aim is for young researchers to be nurtured in an environment that provides relevant experience, delivers high quality learning, and values creativity and talent. This paper argues that research assistants have been an undervalued part of many faculties research culture and that more careful employment and training of research assistants in Australian law faculties will not only improve research outcomes, but also provide a highly effective method of nurturing future academic researchers.

In Techniques for Teaching Law, Hess and Friedland express their enthusiasm for &quot;Seven Principles for Good Practice in Undergraduate Education&quot; as valuable guidelines for legal educators. 1. Encouraging student-staff contact; 2. Encouraging cooperation among students; 3. Encouraging active learning; 4. Giving prompt feedback; 5. Emphasising effective time management; 6. Communicating high expectations and 7. Respecting diverse talents and ways of learning. As committed legal educators, the authors of this article are guided by these principles in their teaching practice and believe that &quot;while traditional legal education emphasised the acquisition of knowledge or &#39;cognitive learning&#39;, today professional legal education must seek to achieve other goals&quot;. If Law graduates are to be equipped with lifelong skills and attributes then these goals must include the growth of interpersonal and communication skills in context throughout the undergraduate degree.

Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation and the role of conservation, sustainable management of forests and enhancement of forest carbon stocks in developing countries (REDD+) has emerged out of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)/Kyoto Protocol negotiations. It is intended to be a mechanism to channel funding (from both public and private sources) for reducing emissions from the forest sector. It is an international climate change policy that relies on national implementation. In order to attract and manage REDD+ investments (both public and private), countries need to decide on their approach to REDD+ implementation through a series of policy choices, and then implement those policy choices through strong legal frameworks. An important question for REDD+ host countries to consider, therefore, is how to develop robust legal structures to facilitate REDD+ implementation.
