The Nepali print media is found to serve its community in Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India, over generations now. The evolution of such language paper has undergone a sea change. By closing down some of its publications to emerge as one of the most liked dailies, the press is still facing challenges and troubles for its existence. However, the substantial growth gets reflected in the increasing number of readership. Presently, the only Nepali Paper that is being published from Siliguri, being the major city of Darjeeling district, is 'Himalaya Darpan'. The total number of circulation is 40,000 per day which gets distributed to Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Kurseong, Sikkim and Dooars areas being mostly dominated by the tribe. The
