Beginning This paper reflects on Personne, a group of artists who are bound together by the personal and musical affinities of its members. Their performances operate on unsettled ground which involves experiments with the repertoire of contemporary music and especially in articulating the music with other arts. The group's creations demonstrate a certain informality that reveals an air that is both, unpretentious and critical. The main points of the article are: the performance's presentation, a contextualizaton of noise in art and a contextualization of the piece in the context of processual composition. The results present the transmission's sound marks in the listening process as well as the changing of roles of author/performer/listener in works that use the sound recording as a performatic resource.

It also discusses the role of authorship in this tradition and, from the creative process presented by the pieces, proposes another creation device that includes the performers as active participantes in the work's composition. The device ensures, however, that authorship elements will not be lost – those enfaced, on this context, as necessary for a first musical design, which can be modified during the work's process of creation – the last truly collective and integrator of multiple “polytechnique formations”.

It made the sounds of the Symphonie – a piece originally created to be played by loudspeakers in a concert situation – visible by the presence of the musicians and their gestures on stage, playing several musical instruments (guitar, flute, electric guitar, percussion, prepared piano), objects (empty plastic bags, portable pick-ups, toy piano, even an emery) and sound foley elements (vocalized mimics, steps, among others).

Learning and teaching it is a task that has worried flutists and teachers that, through methods, firstly to approach the problem, try to name and describe its aspects. However, as a result of the oral transmission culture from teacher to student, out of context this nomenclature is not always accurate. In this work, we aim to list the terms related to sound in the flute literature and analyze them. Afterwards, we retake the sonority analysis proposed by Pierre Schaeffer, which comes from the same strategy of naming sound substrates, arranging the terms and categories in opposite pairs. Finally, it is expected to constitute a lexicon, the initial stage of an analysis of the flute sound.

Thus they define a way of listening, linked to a particular use of the voice - differentiating it from the actor’s voice in the theater - and in a determining relationship with the technical and environmental characteristics of the microphone, radio broadcasting and sound recording. This research of the poetics of radiophonic voice is contemporaneous to the creation of concrete music by Pierre Schaeffer.

It also proposes to understand the use of a “poetics of the voice” and of bodily sounds in such musical practice, which are the result of the influence of the radiophonic drama via a departure from the media of radio to music operated by its creator, Pierre Schaeffer.
The specific strategy of reception brought by the Symphonie and pointed out in our work consists in a Listening of Intimacy. This concept refers to a kind of listening that identifies bodily traces left inscribed in the music. This vector of listening can be seen as much as an imaginary proximity between the sounding sources and the listener´s position, as a suggestion of an intentionality on the listener, which takes as yours the sounds he listened as if they came from his own emission. Those intimacy traces are brought together by the influence of the radiophonic poetics and are inscribed in the material support of the works - the audio recording.
From the analysis of one of the movements of the piece, Erotica, and the comparison of the orginal version with a transcription for performance with live musicians, we hope to put forward the specificities of its (sound inscription, which results on the listening of intimacy that we hereby present.

The group was born out of a project to transcribe the Symphonie pour un homme seul [Symphony for One Man Alone], a quintessential example of an instrumental version of musique concrète. In this project and in subsequent works, creation transpires through experimentation by means of exploring the practices of each one of its members without attempting or desiring to formalize them. Thus, this paper presents the reflections and questions of five member of the Personne group, which, based on their own work, result in projecting their critical views in relation to music and sound art in general.
