Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a particular interest in integrating social media as an educational tool to support the distance learning process. The main problem with this study is the way students invest in networking opportunities for learning. Special emphasis is placed on the Everyday Informal Learning. An electronic questionnaire was distributed to 284 students registered at the University of Sharjah and King Saud University. This study raises the question of the ICT usage in Education. A particular focus was put on the UAE private universities implementation of the Learning Management Systems and their engagement in terms of uses. A number of semi-structured interviews were conducted with a sample of academicians selected from four private universities in the UAE, in order to identify the experience of using Blackboard and Moodle. The result showed that the sample faces challenges of transformation of curriculum and learning process, mainly in some programs related to colleges of humanities and social sciences. To boost the use of technology in these programs, respondents claimed many recommendations, such as implementing platforms that recognize the Arabic language and organizing orientations and training sessions for both faculties and students.

This paper analyzes trends related to the role of social media in crisis communication. The author posed a question about the attitudes of online media actors (communication, public relations and marketing experts) towards using social media as a strategic communication tool in times of crisis; Emphasis on two different crises: the 2016 Turkish political crisis and the global health pandemic (COVID-19) in 2020. Communications actors' perceptions and behaviors of social media in times of crisis were tracked through a mixed method (a content analysis of 40 online publications about the military coup attempt in Turkey, and 20 semi structured in-depth interviews about the usage of social media during the quarantine period). Nous avons essaye d'etudier les effets du phenomene de l'internationalisation sur la television notamment sur la programmation televisee. Le cas de Tunis 7 representatif des televisions dans le tiers monde a ete analyse. Durant notre recherche, nous avons etudie deux grilles de programmes de la chaine etudiee celles de 1988 et 1998 pour identifier la strategie de programmation de Tunis 7 et pour souligner les changements importants dans ce sens. Nous avons conclu que la television tunisienne a tendance a essayer de convertir sa grille de programmes aux besoins et a la disponibilite de ses publics. Neamoins, beaucoup de signes de l'ancien modele persistent encore dans la grille etudiee de 1998.  The Suppressor of fused [Su(fu)] gene of Drosophila melanogaster encodes a protein containing a PEST sequence [sequence enriched in proline (P), glutamic acid (E), serine (S) and threonine (T)] which acts as an antagonist to the serine-threonine kinase Fused in Hedgehog (Hh) signal transduction during embryogenesis. The Su(fu) gene isolated from a distantly related Drosophila species, D. virilis, shows significantly high homology throughout its protein sequence with its D. melanogaster counterpart. We show that these two Drosophila homologs of Su(fu) are functionally interchangeable in enhancing the fused phenotype. We have also isolated mammalian homologs of Su(fu). The absence of the PEST sequence in the mammalian Su(fu) protein suggests a different regulation for this product between fly and vertebrates. Using the yeast two-hybrid method, we show that the murine Su(fu) protein can interact directly with the Fused and Cubitus interruptus proteins, known partners of Su(fu) in Drosophila. These data are discussed in the light of their evolutionary relationships.

This study is an attempt to understand what justified the change in the new World Bank’s Group strategic and operational approach which replaced  since July 2014 the former Country Assistance Strategy (CAS) by a  new country engagement model called  Country Partnership Framework (CPF). These changes at the operational level occur at a time when different development strategies experienced by donors on the African continent have shown their limit, as the levels of poverty and inequality still remain the highest, compared to all the others Regions across the world. The disconnection of development strategies from political contexts is one of the elements that most marked the intervention of the partners in Côte d'Ivoire during the last 15 years. Since the outbreak of the military-political crisis in September 2002, no development strategy has truly come to its end. The study, which is based on a socio-political and historical approach, shows that as long as the problem of institutions has not been solved in Africa, governance of development becomes difficult, raising the recurrent question of foreign Aid  effectiveness.
