Abstract Culture can be defined as a way of life, a human value and the characteristic of the society and tourism is an activity that is undertaken to explore the above system. Cultural Tourism is a sector that focuses on those geographical areas of a country which reflect the art, architecture, religion and elements of that country. It includes showcasing the tradition, festivals and rituals they follow and how it influences the lives of the people living there. It also focuses on the richness and diversity. Travel industry is one among the pioneers to experience the taste of online presence in India. Online reservations started in the 1990’s with instant increase in the users exploring this option for their travel needs. The government of India initiated and facilitated train booking which was followed by the various airline operators. A series of alkali metal (Li, Na, K) promoted alkali earth oxides (CaO, BaO, MgO), as well as K2CO3 supported on alumina (Al2O3), were prepared and used as catalysts for transesterification of canola oil with methanol. Four catalysts such as K2CO3/Al2O3 and alkali metal (Li, Na, K) promoted BaO were effective for transesterification with >85 wt% of methyl esters. ICP-MS analysis revealed that leaching of barium in ester phase was too high (~1,000 ppm) when BaO based catalysts were used. As barium is highly toxic, these catalysts were not used further for transesterification of canola oil. Optimization of reaction conditions such as molar ratio of alcohol to oil (6:1–12:1), reaction temperature (40–60 °C) and catalyst loading (1–3 wt%) was performed for most efficient and environmentally friendly K2CO3/Al2O3 catalyst to maximize ester yield using response surface methodology (RSM). The RSM suggested that a molar ratio of alcohol to oil 11.48:1, a reaction temperature of 60 °C, and catalyst loading 3.16 wt% were optimum for the production of ester from canola oil. The predicted value of ester yield was 96.3 wt% in 2 h, which was in agreement with the experimental results within 1.28%.

Triphenylphosphine reacts with to give [Mn(CO)(3)(PPh(3))(kappa(2)-pymS)] () in which the pyrimidine-2-thiolate coordinates in a bidentate fashion. With diamines [M(CO)(3)(kappa(2)-L)(kappa(1)-pymS)] () (M = Re, Mn; L = 2,2'- bipy, 1,10-phen, en) result in which the pyrimidine-2-thiolate binds in a monodentate fashion through sulfur. With diphosphines, complexes with different stoichiometries and pyrimidine-2-thiolate binding modes are obtained depending on the nature of the metal and diphosphine. With dppm and dppe, gives [Re(CO)(2)(kappa(1)-pymS)(kappa(2)-dppm)] () and [Re(CO)(2)(kappa(2)-pymS)(kappa(1)-dppe)(2)] (), respectively, whereas affords [Mn(CO)(2)(kappa(2)-pymS)(kappa(1)-dppm)(2)] () and [Mn(CO)(2)(kappa(2)-pyS)(kappa(2)-dppe)] () under similar conditions.
