The aim of employing light in the products prepared for cinema and television in basic is to facilitate the perception of the issue, the framework, environment and the actions of the characters and the objects as well as to aestheticize the dramatic emphasis and psychological atmosphere of the product. In the cinema films, another element which is as important as light and which provides contribution to the production of emotion and meaning is color. Related to the perception of light, color has a dramatic function in creating the desired emotion through the general shape of the image and the meaning it reminds. Light and color are actively employed throughout the visual production in terms of form and transferring the meaning and emotions to the audience which the artist designs in his mind. In addition to the current traditional Turkish television broadcasting, numerous domestic serials have emerged on the new digital watching platforms which are supported by the internet. In this study, the serial of "Şahsiyet" (Personality" directed by Onur Saylak and issued by Puhu TV in 2018 was analyzed in terms of the relationships between the lighting and color design and the establishment of meaning. As for the method of the research, the method of "stylistic analysis" by Henrich Wölfflin which is one of the methods of qualitative research was employed. At the end of the research, it was found out that the lighting design employed in the serial was similar to the use of light in the drawing art of Baroque era. Color was visualized in the common structure with the color form seen in Fauvism era. When looking at the scenes in the series, dramatic lighting elements that characterize certain emotions and psychological situations were used, and colors such as blue, red, yellow and green were emphasized based on characters. It was found that the colors which characterize the aforementioned psychological occasions were reflected onto the scenes within the narration of the serial. Structured Abstract: The objective in the aesthetical organization of the image in all kinds of art which are based on visual quality is related to the complete transfer and composition of the contents and emotions which the artist designs in his mind towards the individuals who will contact to that piece of art. For that reason, making a complete organization in the transfer of meanings is crucially important in terms of providing the stylistic beauty of the piece of art.
