Na arquitetura, surgem como uma proposta de preservar bens com valores socioculturais e de preservar o meio ambiente. Dessa forma, as técnicas empregadas durante o processo de restauração apresentam peculiaridades. O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar um estudo de caso de um processo de restauração de uma fachada em uma edificação no sul do Brasil. Trata-se de um bem tombado pelo Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional – IPHAN, o Palácio da Justiça do Paraná. The humanization of organizations is a trend in companies that have a vision of the future aligned with the needs of the market. In the health area, this humanization should not be limited to its users, but include the employees involved in the work system. The human aspect and its relations with the work system is a focus of studying ergonomics, which in its macroergomic approach aims at integrating organization-man-machine systems into a sociotechnical and participatory context. This study aims to apply the macroergonomic approach with health workers in order to propose and implement improvements; evidencing the importance of their involvement in better acceptance of the proposed improvements generating greater satisfaction. According to the World Health Organization, more than one billion people on the planet have a type of disability. In Brazil, it corresponds to twentyfour per cent of the population, which creates a high level of social impacts, psychological vulnerability and dependence on others. In this context, Assistive Technology, including prosthetic devices, it is a resource that can be used in order to reduce those vulnerability levels. However, the product market of Assistive Technology is still limited, the few available products present high cost contradicting Brazil's high poverty levels, and the rates of dissatisfaction and abandonment of those products are quite high since these people have many specificities. THE PRODUCT MARKET OF ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY IS STILL LIMITED, AND THE FEW AVAILABLE PRODUCTS PRESENT HIGH COST, CONTRADICTING BRAZIL'S HIGH POVERTY LEVELS AND THE ACCESS FOR MOST OF THE USERS WITH DISABILITIES. THE MAIN PURPOSE IS TO PRESENT A FRACTION OF THE INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PROCESS OF PRODUCT (IDPP) FOR ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY, APPLYING TOOLS OF PRODUCT ERGONOMICS AND UNIVERSAL DESIGN. THIS IS A RESEARCH OF THE INFORMATIONAL PROJECT APPLIED TO THE PROSTHETICS DEVICES FOR THE UPPER LIMB. THE SPECIFIC AIMS CONCERN THE MARKET OF ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY AND ITS USERS. THE STUDY IS BASED ON OBSERVATIONAL ANALYSIS IN FIELD RESEARCH AND IN DATA COLLECTION PRESENT IN THE SOCIO-TECHNICAL SYSTEM OF THE USERS. THE RESULT SHOWS AN ANALISYS OF THE PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS AND SKILLS OF THE PERSON WITH DISABILITIES. BESIDES, BASED ON THE INVESTIGATION AND ANALISYS USING LIKERT TOOL, THE SPECIFICITIES OF THE USERS ARE FOUND IN ORDER TO APPLY THEM ASPRODUCTS REQUIREMENTS, TO CONSTITUTE THE CONCEPTUAL AND DETAILED PROJECT, TO CARRY OUT THE RAPID PROTOTYPING IN CAD ENVIRONMENT, 3D PRINTING AND ASSEMBLY OF THE PRODUCT. IT IS CONCLUDED THAT THE TOOLS OF PRODUCT EGONOMICS HAVE APPLICABILITY IN THE IDPP, SINCE IT ENABLES TO STUDY THE SPECIFICITIES OF USERS IN ORDER TO APPLY THEM IN SUBSEQUENT PHASES OF IDPP PROJECTS.

This research is focused on issues of environmental sustainability and social inclusion in the Integrated Product Development Process (IPDP) to elaborate a component of a solar water heating system using discarded and recyclable materials in a way that people with visual impaired can be involved with its manufacture. For this, it was developed tools that offer safety and comfort to the user in the construction of the prototype component. The construction of the component prototype and the tools happened during the IPDP phases based on the principles and concepts of product ergonomic, usability and renewable energy. ABSTRACT This paper presents a case study regarding the professional qualification training for a group of disabled employees newly hired by a company that manufactures automotive parts. These employees receive exclusive training to work on the companys plant floor. This research was limited to PCP (Planning and Production Control) classes, where was used the courseware, teaching methodology and student-employee assessment outlined in the structure of Product Development Process oriented for Assistive Technology. The main challenge was planning the training for a group of students that present physical, mental, visual or hearing disabilities. The research objective is to present the research conducted in the class and the possibility of development of teaching methods and materials that reach the cognition level of students with disabilities in the PCP subject, making them aware of the necessity of teamwork and consequently enabling them to perform their function as well as raise awareness for searching improvements in the work environment and alternatives communication with their coworkers. At the end, it is discussed the results presenting the strengths and difficulties found during the research in the professional qualification training classes.
