@EmpAhmadK and all: In a recent conversations with WMF engineers @SToyofuku-WMF, @Ladsgroup, @santhosh they acknowledged that this appears to be a legitimate issue. They looked into your community’s previously submitted proposal to Unicode and are trying to make sense of their suggestion that the responsibility should lie with font designers. They were wondering if the preferable course of action would be to have fonts specifically support the Jawi 3/4 hamza using the U+0674 HIGH HAMZA character when writing in the Jawi script.
Thank you for tagging this task with good first task for Wikimedia newcomers!

For an incubation experiment, a request was made to approve this wiki for creation. This is one of the five wikis that were requested for approval. Until the request for all five wikis is approved, let's pause the creation work.

@Nemoralis @Ultron90, thanks for the patch! I added a +2, thinking it was ready to be approved, but after checking with @Amire80, I had to reset the votes as I learned that the complete process for updating a language is here: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Adding_and_removing_languages#Updating_in_Names.php. It would be good to add a boilerplate to this Phabricator task description, as well as some background information in both the patch description and the Phabricator ticket to show proof of the change in the language name from "Dusun Bundu-Liwan" to "Kadazandusun." There is also some information here: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Adding_and_removing_languages#Determining_the_autonym.

18 participants attended this session, which was organized as part of the Let's Connect Learning Clinic for Wikimedia community members interested in learning more about language diversity and representation in Wikimedia projects. The session explored the role of technology in supporting language diversity at Wikimedia—particularly in growth and learning technologies—and included a hands-on workshop on the TranslateWiki extension, which helps translate software interface messages, and the Section Translation tool, which allows users to translate a section of an article from one language to another. The slides, with content translated into Spanish and French, are available here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Workshop_%26_Talk_Technology_for_Language_Diversity_in_Wikimedia.pdf.

There may be several links for contributors to report or communicate about the issues they are facing, but the main problem I am highlighting in this task is that none of these links are discoverable, at least for someone who is a regular user (not a developer) and not integrated into the Wikimedia community. For example, if you are reading an article on English Wikipedia as an amateur editor and encounter an issue while using an on-wiki tool, what is the process for you to navigate to the communication venues from where you currently are? What does that navigation look like? Even if it is the village pump, that link is hidden somewhere in the vast amount of information found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Contents. And even if it exists, how do the bug reports get routed from there to more specific venues where they can be acted on?

@MaryMunyoki This is really great! I would like to get in touch with User:Atibrarian and User:Aina-TheSymbyat and see if they would be interested in joining our next Language Community Meeting and sharing their experiences in developing minority local languages in Nigeria.

From the provided list, I did some further filtering to select the top 5 editors for each wiki and then removed those with missing user pages on Incubator. In total, I posted on the talk pages of 16 editors and emailed the ones with the feature enabled.
