Some attempts have been made to resolve these problems, For example, U.S. Patent number 8,923,938 B2 appears to disclose protective carrying apparatus for a cellular phone and essential .personal -items; however, the protective carrying apparatus does not appear to be waterproof or able to float, should the apparatus aecidently get wet or fall into water. t would therefore be desirable to provide a carrying ease that is fashionable, waterproof, and can float, it would also be desirable: to provide carrying, case that allows a person to view and/or manipulate an electronic .device, like a cellular telephone or a portable music player, contained in the carrying case without actually taking the electronic device out of the carrying case (e.g., Bluetooth and phone call capability would still be possible within the case).

{0005} The present teachings provide a carrying case including a first portion having a first inner surface and a first outer surface, and. a second, portion having a second inner surface, a second outer surface, A pocket is located between the second inner surface and the second outer surface. An item located in the pocket can be viewed and manipulated from the second outer surface.
{0006} The present teachings also provide a waterproof carrying ease comprising a first portion, a second portion, and a zipper. The first portion includes a first inner surface, a first outer surface, and a first located between the first inner surface- -and the first outer surface. The second portion includes- a second inner surface, a second outer surface,, and a pocket located between the second inner surface and the second outer surface. The. zipper extends between the first portion and the second portion. An item located in the second pocket can be viewed mid manipulated from a window located on the second outer surface. When the zipper is in a closed position, an inner portion of the carrying ease located between the firs portion and the second portion i kept dry when the carrying case Is exposed t moisture.
