CARRYING CASE
FIELD
{0001} The present teachings relate generally to a carrying case, More specifically, theeachings' herein relate to a carryin case for carrying and protecting items like, for example, currency, passports., makeup, arid candy; electronic devices like, cellular telephones, tablets, cameras, and portable music players; and cards like identificatio cards, credit cards, and business cards.

[0002] Most days, a person carries with them various forms- of currency (i.e., coins and paper}, cards like identification cards, credit cards, passports and business cards, lip balm, keys, and electronic devices tike a cellular telephone, a tablet, and a portable music player. While a person may carry these items- and other like- similar items in a purse or backpack, some of the items: may be damaged when the purse or backpack is exposed to water, like if the person is caught in a rainstorm, fo example. Or, if the person is at a pool or beach and the purse or backpack is inadvertently splashed or if the purse or backpack falls into the water, some of the items .may be damaged. Moreover, if the person is caught in. a. rainstorm, takin a telephone ou t of the purse or backpack may expose the telephone to the rain, which may cause it to malfonctipn. Some attempts have been made to resolve these problems, For example, U.S. Patent number 8,923,938 B2 appears to disclose protective carrying apparatus for a cellular phone and essential .personal -items; however, the protective carrying apparatus does not appear to be waterproof or able to float, should the apparatus aecidently get wet or fall into water. t would therefore be desirable to provide a carrying ease that is fashionable, waterproof, and can float, it would also be desirable: to provide carrying, case that allows a person to view and/or manipulate an electronic .device, like a cellular telephone or a portable music player, contained in the carrying case without actually taking the electronic device out of the carrying case (e.g., Bluetooth and phone call capability would still be possible within the case). SUMMARY
(0003] The present teachings meet one or more of these needs b proyiding a carrying case that is fashionable, waterproof, and can float.
{0004} Tile present teachings also meet one or more of these needs by providing a carrying case for personal items and. electronic devices that■■allows a person to view and/or .manipulate an electronic device contained, in the carrying ease without having to actually take the device out of the carrying ease.
{0005} The present teachings provide a carrying case including a first portion having a first inner surface and a first outer surface, and. a second, portion having a second inner surface, a second outer surface, A pocket is located between the second inner surface and the second outer surface. An item located in the pocket can be viewed and manipulated from the second outer surface.
{0006} The present teachings also provide a waterproof carrying ease comprising a first portion, a second portion, and a zipper. The first portion includes a first inner surface, a first outer surface, and a first located between the first inner surface- -and the first outer surface. The second portion includes- a second inner surface, a second outer surface,, and a pocket located between the second inner surface and the second outer surface. The. zipper extends between the first portion and the second portion. An item located in the second pocket can be viewed mid manipulated from a window located on the second outer surface. When the zipper is in a closed position, an inner portion of the carrying ease located between the firs portion and the second portion i kept dry when the carrying case Is exposed t moisture.
