Abstract

　【課題】便座シートの縁部において人体と便座とが直接接触して使用者に与える不快感をなくす。　【解決手段】対称的な左右一対の本体を有する便座クッションである。各便座クッションは、Hが380mm～450mm、Wが170mm～210mm、W1が100～140mm、W2が110～140mm、W3が100～130mmである。ここで、Hは便座の縦方向の長さ、Wは便座の横方向の長さ、W1は便座の0点から前方へ100mm地点の便座幅、W2は便座の0点から前方へ200mm地点の便座幅、W3は便座の中央線より平行に40mmずらした地点の便座幅であり、0点は便座中心線と便座開口が交差する後方側である。太腿と便座５が接触する範囲（T及びS）を覆うのに十分な大きさと形状を有し、なおかつ洗浄ノズルの動作の妨げとならないための露出部６を有する。　

Description

便座クッション
　本発明は洋式便器の便座の上部を被覆する便座クッション（「便座カバー」ともいう）に関する。
　従来、合成樹脂製の便座に直接座ったときの冷たい感触や硬質な感触を避けるため、便座を覆う形のカバーが用いられてきた。特に、昨今の節電意識の高まりにより、便座を温める代わりに、または設定温度を下げて、便座カバーを装着する人が増えているので、便座カバーの需要は大きい。
　そのようなカバーとして、当初はニット製袋状のものや留め具付きのニット製一枚物が使用されていた。これは「第一世代」とでもいうもので、一般に「便座カバー」と呼ばれることが多い。この便座カバーは、Ｕ型便座に使用する場合は、問題はないが、Ｏ型便座及び洗浄暖房装置付き便座の場合、取り付けが非常に面倒であるという欠点があった。
　最近は便座表面に貼り付けて使用する一対の三日月形の基布タイプのカバーが増えつつある。これは「第二世代」とでもいうもので、「便座シート」と呼ばれることが多い。便座シートを便座表面に貼り付ける方法としては、自己粘着性を有する樹脂を基布に積層する方法（例：特開２００２－２３３４７６）が一般的である。便座シートは、洗濯や取り付けが容易である等の利点があるが、平面的であるためシートの縁部において人体と便座とが直接接触してしまうことがあるのを避けられず、十分満足できるものではなかった。また使用しているうちに先端部においてめくれ上がるという問題もあった。
　さらに、便座カバー及び便座シート共に、前記のＯ型、Ｕ型、そのほか洗浄暖房装置付きも含めて３種類の便座すべてに対して、使用できるものは少なかった。
特開２００２－２３３４７６
　本発明は、上記便座カバー及び便座シートの上記問題点を克服する、いわば第三世代のカバー（ここでは、前２者と区別するために便宜上、「便座クッション」と呼ぶ）を提供することを目的とする。特に、便座シートにおける最大の問題、すなわち平面的なシートの縁部において人体と便座とが直接接触して使用者に与える不快感をなくすことを主目的とする。
　本発明者は、この不快感を取り除くためには、人体側からの究明と便座側からの究明が不可欠と考えた。
　人体側からの究明に必要な基本的な人体標準寸法は次のとおりである（「設計のための人体データ集」生命工学工業技術研究所編集、人間生活工学研究センター発行）。

　便座側からの究明に必要なデータとして、現在日本で販売されている１１種類の便座の寸法を下記３カ所ａ，ｂ，ｃで測定して次の最大値最小値を得た。なお、便座中心線と便座開口が交差する後ろ側を「０点」とする。

　＜０点の意義＞
　経験上、便座の０点を通る水平線が臀部後縁とみなしてもよい。
　＜ａ点の意義＞
　座位臀・転子点距離は平均104.6mmであるので、ほぼ０点からａ点（０点から100mm前方）までの距離とみなすことができる。
　座位臀・転子点距離方向と垂直方向が座面幅である。
　各種便座の測定結果では最大便座幅は約370mmであって、ａ点の位置における横幅とほぼ一致する（表２の例示図参照）。上記の人体座面幅（平均348.1mm）もａ点において最大となるが、最大便座幅約370mmは人が十分余裕をもって自然に座ることのできる距離と考えられる。
＜ｂ点の意義＞
　ａ点とｃ点のほぼ中間位置である。採寸位置を増やすために設けた。
＜ｃ点の意義＞
　排尿・排泄時、着座状態において、上記座面幅を示す図のように、膝頭を密着させることはあり得ない。膝を開く姿勢として、Ｕ型便座の先割れ寸法（65mm～75mm）を参照して、ｃ点（中心線より平行に40mmずらした位置）を決定した。
＜太腿直径＞
　太腿を円筒形と想定すると、太腿直径Dは528.4mm/π=168mmである。実際には太腿は円筒ではないし、着座したときには形が崩れてゆがんだ楕円に近くなるので、おおよその目安である。
　これらのデータより、太腿と便座が接触する範囲（「冷感知範囲」）の改善が必要と考えられた。

　上記平面範囲（T）には太腿（平均直径168mm）が収まることがわかる。着座し、膝頭を全開しても、ｃ点まで開いてもやはり平面範囲（T）に収まる。また、立体範囲（S）に関しては、太腿直径168mmはａ点の実測最大値115mmよりも大きいが、経験上、太腿は便座上の空中にはみ出しているので、便座と接触しないからこれで十分である。
　少なくともこの冷感知範囲を覆うことができ、なおかつ洗浄ノズルの動作の妨げとならないものであれば、本発明の目的は達せられることが分かった。なお、この冷感知範囲は最低限覆う必要があるものであって、これを超える範囲を排除する趣旨ではない。例えば、下記実施例において図示したように、平面範囲（T）を超えて後方に便座クッションが伸長していてもよいし、むしろその方が好ましい。
　本発明の便座クッションは、対称的な左右一対の本体を有する便座クッションであり、各カバーは、少なくとも太腿と便座が接触する範囲（T及びS）を覆い、なおかつ洗浄ノズルの動作の妨げとならない程度に、十分な大きさと形状を有する。すなわち、上記ａ～ｃ点において上記最大値の幅を有し、なおかつ上記最小値をもカバーできる大きさと形状を有することを特徴とする。
　具体的な便座の寸法は、添付の図6において、Hは380mm～450mm、Wは170mm～210mm、W1は100～140mm、W2は110～140mm、W3は100～130mmであり、好ましくは、Hは390mm～420mm、Wは180mm～200mm、W1は110～130mm、W2は120～140mm、W3は110～130mmであり、もっとも好ましいのは、H≒405mm、W≒185mm、W1≒120mm、W2≒130mm、W3≒115mmである。ここで、Hは縦方向の長さ、Wは横方向の長さ、W1は0点から前方へ100mm地点の便座幅、W2は0点から前方へ200mm地点の便座幅、W3は中央線より平行に40mmずらした地点の便座幅である（請求項１）。
　好ましくは、前記本体の裏側には滑り止め加工が施される（請求項２）。
　好ましくは、前記本体に取付紐が少なくとも2カ所取り付けられており、そのうちの1本は前記ｃ地点付近である（請求項３）。
　好ましくは、前記取付紐がゴムベルトと面ファスナの組み合わせである（請求項４）。
　好ましくは、前記面ファスナが雌雄面ファスナの組み合わせであり、雌側が雄側よりも幅広である（請求項５）ことが好ましいが、同じ幅でもよい。
　本発明各請求項の便座クッションは、便座メーカーが過去に販売し、または現在販売している各種便座において、使用者の臀部及び太腿が触れる可能性のある便座平面及び側面をカバーすると共に、洗浄ノズルの動作の妨げとならない。したがって、使用者の臀部及び太腿は便座に直接触れることはないので、冷たい感触や硬質な感触を避けることができる。また、本発明各請求項の便座クッションは、前記のＯ型、Ｕ型、洗浄暖房装置付きのものの３種類の便座すべてに対して、適用が可能である。
　請求項２～５の便座クッションによれば、便座に対する取り付けやすさやその取り付け後の安定度が向上する。
　以下、添付の図面に基づき、本発明の1実施例を説明する。
本発明の1実施例に係る便座クッションを便座に装着した状態の斜視図である。 同便座クッションの平面図である。 同便座クッションの側面図である。 同便座クッションの背面図である。 図2のＶ－Ｖ断面図である。 同便座クッションの寸法計測基準を示す便座クッション平面図である。
　図１に示すように、この便座クッション１は左右対称で一対になったものであり、便器４上端の便座５の上に取り付けて使用する。0点付近から出没する洗浄ノズル（図示せず）の動作の妨げとならないための露出部６を有する。
　図２～５に示すように、便座クッション１は変形楕円状の本体２と、便座に装着するための取付紐３からなる。
　本体２の表面２１は、人体に直接接触する部分であるから、不快感を与えないため、パイル地やシャーリング加工したものであることが好ましい。本体縁部２３は縁どりされている。
　本体２の裏面２２は滑り止め加工を施すことが好ましい。滑り止め加工としては、例えば表側のポリウレタン樹脂シートに、多数の小突起１４を設ける方法、シリコーン粒子を吹き付けて加熱する方法、シリコーン粒子とポリウレタン粒子を練り込み加熱成型する方法などがある。
　取付紐３は2カ所以上に設ける必要がある。図示の本実施例では2カ所に設けられている。この取付紐３は本体に近い側の伸縮性ゴムベルト３１と遠い側の面ファスナ３２からなる。取付紐３の厚みは便座裏にある脚（図示せず）の長さにもよるが、全機種に対応するためには5mm以下であることが好ましい。
　取付紐３の設定位置は、取付紐が2カ所の場合、1つはａ～ｂ間、もう1つはｃ付近が好ましい。ｃ付近の位置に配置するのは、便座クッションの先端がめくれ上がらないようにするためである。
　取付紐３の長さは、前記表2で見たように、各メーカーの便座幅にはａ～ｃを通じて、最大25mmの寸法差があるので、これを考慮して決定される。
　取付紐３の雌雄面ファスナは、雌側３３を雄側３４よりも幅広に設定しておくことが好ましい。洗濯のときに、雌雄面ファスナが相互に付着していれば、他の洗濯物に雄側フックが引っ掛かるようなことはないが、雄側フックが一部でも露出していればその恐れがある。そのため、雄側のフックは小さくして露出部分をなくすことが好ましく、そのようにしても付着力に大きな影響はない。しかし、特にそのような配慮が必要のないときには同じ幅の雌雄面ファスナを使用することもできる。
　また便座クッションは後先が分かりづらいので、目印（図示せず）を付けておくことが好ましい。目印は例えば「先」とか「前」などの表示であり、裏側に印刷したりラベルを縫い付けたりする。
　この便座クッション１を便座５に装着すると、図６に示すように、便座メーカーが過去に販売し、また現在販売している各種便座（図６に細線で輪郭を表現している）において、使用者の臀部及び太腿が触れる可能性のある便座平面及び側面（冷感知範囲）を完全に覆うことができ、なおかつ洗浄ノズルの動作の妨げとならない。

Claims (6)

  1. 　対称的な左右一対の本体を有する便座クッション（１）であり、
    　各便座クッション（１）は、Hが380mm～450mm、Wが170mm～210mm、W1が100～140mm、W2が110～140mm、W3が100～130mmであり、
    　ここで、Hは便座（５）の縦方向の長さ、Wは便座の横方向の長さ、W1は便座の0点から前方へ100mm地点（ａ）の便座幅、W2は便座の0点から前方へ200mm地点（ｂ）の便座幅、W3は便座の中央線より平行に40mmずらした地点（ｃ）の便座幅であり、0点は便座中心線と便座中央開口が交差する後方側であり、
    　もって、少なくとも太腿と便座（５）が接触する範囲（T及びS）を覆うのに十分な大きさと形状を有し、なおかつ洗浄ノズルの動作の妨げとならないための露出部（６）を有することを特徴とする便座クッション。
  2. 前記本体（２）の裏側に滑り止め加工が施された請求項１記載の便座クッション。
  3. 　前記本体（２）に取付紐（３）が少なくとも2カ所取り付けられており、そのうちの1本は前記ｃ地点付近である請求項１又は２記載の便座クッション。
  4. 　前記取付紐（３）がゴムベルト（３１）と面ファスナ（３２）の組み合わせである請求項１～３のいずれかに記載の便座クッション。
  5. 　前記面ファスナが雌雄面ファスナの組み合わせであり、雌側（３３）が雄側（３４）よりも幅広である請求項１～４のいずれかに記載の便座クッション。
  6. 　Hが390mm～420mm、Wが180mm～200mm、W1が110～130mm、W2が120～140mm、W3が110～130mmである請求項１～４のいずれかに記載の便座クッション。
