Abstract

La présente invention concerne un chaumard (1) pour le guidage d'une chaîne d'ancrage (C), destiné à équiper une installation d'ancrage (2) au sol d'une plateforme flottante, lequel chaumard (1) comporte une structure de renvoi (10), pour guider un changement de direction de ladite chaîne d'ancrage (C) associée, et une structure de verrouillage (11) qui comporte une mâchoire composée de deux mors associés à des moyens (22) pour leur manœuvre en rotation en sens inverse. Les moyens de manœuvre (22) comportent : (a) une masse inerte (25), dite « contrepoids », qui est accouplée en mouvement avec lesdits mors et qui est manœuvrable en hauteur entre une position basse et une position haute correspondant, respectivement, à une position active et à une position inactive desdits mors, de sorte à manœuvrer et à tendre à maintenir lesdits mors dans ladite position active, et (b) un moyen actionneur (26), piloté par des moyens de commande, pour la manœuvre desdits mors depuis ladite position active jusqu'à ladite position inactive et pour la manœuvre dudit contrepoids (25) depuis ladite position basse jusqu'à ladite position haute.
