例えば、特許文献1には、プラグ部分の凸状の係合部であるロッキング・ラグが扁平形状のバックルの厚み方向に突出したバックルが記載されている。
特許文献2には、プラグの先端にソケットと係合する第1凸部が扁平形状のバックルの厚み方向に突出したバックルが記載されている。
このような発明では、傾斜面の角度が15°であるので、凸部が傾斜面を円滑に滑走することができる。このため、操作部を押圧することで、プラグがソケットから分離して円滑に押し出される。よって、操作部を押圧するだけで、より確実にプラグとソケットを分離することができる。

図4および図5において、プラグ10は、合成樹脂の射出成形により全体を一体成形されたものであり、一対の脚部12を有する基部11と、脚部12にそれぞれ形成された係合部14と、ベルトなどが挿通されるベルト装着部19を有する。
脚部12は、基部11の幅方向(ソケット20に対するプラグ10の差込方向およびソケット20の厚み方向とそれぞれ直交する方向、図1における左右方向)に並列して長さ方向(ソケット20に対するプラグ10の差込方向、図1における上下方向)へ延びて互いに平行とされ、各々は中間ないし先端側が互いに厚み方向(前述した幅方向および差込方向とそれぞれ直交する方向)へ弾性変形可能とされている。
また、一対の脚部12は、それぞれ差込方向へ向かうに連れて操作部27A側へ近接するように傾斜しており、これにより脚部12の全体で厚み方向へ弾性変形する力を受けることができる。

図1および図6から図8において、ソケット20は、合成樹脂の射出成形により全体を一体成形されたものであり、差込口22を有する中空筒状の本体21と、この本体21内に形成されて差込口22から差し込まれたプラグ10の脚部12を収容可能な収容空間23と、本体21に形成されて係合部14が係合可能な被係合部24と、本体21の平面中央に形成された操作用開口27と、プラグと係合された場合に係合部に対応する位置に形成された開口部28と、図示しないベルトが挿通されるベルト装着部29とを有する。
これらの被係合部24の厚み寸法は、収容空間23の厚み方向の寸法より小さく形成され、一対の脚部12に形成される係合部14に対応している。
この誘導面25は、差込口22の端部から差込方向へ複数の一対の溝部26が形成されている。この溝部26は、脚部12および保持部16が差込口22から差し込まれた際に、図示しない脚部12の裏面側に形成された凸状部が、溝部26と対応して脚部12の先端の係合部14を被係合部24へと誘導するガイドとして機能する。

図9に示すように、係合部14と被係合部24との係合を解除するために、本体21の平面中央には操作用開口27が形成されている。この操作用開口27は、内部の収容空間23に連通している。
操作用開口27は、差込口22から差し込まれた脚部12を連結する連結傾斜部14Dを露出させる位置に形成されている。

本実施形態のフロントリリースバックル1では、プラグ10の係合部14が厚み方向ではなく、幅方向に突出しているので、バックルの厚み寸法が大きくなることがなく、厚み寸法を小さくすることができる。このため、例えば、このような厚み寸法が小さいフロントリリースバックル1をリュックサックなどに利用する場合、バックルの厚みが小さいので取り付ける位置に制約が課されない。さらに、厚み寸法が小さいため、バックルが目立たず、リュックサックなどの全体の意匠性に悪影響を及ぼすおそれもない。

Claims (6)
- プラグ(10)とこのプラグ(10)が差込係合されるソケット(20)とを備え、
前記プラグ(10)は、基部(11)と、前記基部(11)から突起した脚部(12)と、前記脚部(12)に形成された係合部(14)と、を有し、
前記ソケット(20)は、差込口(22)を有する本体(21)と、前記本体(21)内に形成されて前記差込口(22)から差し込まれた前記脚部(12)を収容可能な収容空間(23)と、前記本体(21)に形成されて前記係合部(14)が係合可能な被係合部(24)と、前記係合部(14)と前記被係合部(24)との係合を脱離させる操作部(27A)と、を有し、
前記プラグ(10)と前記ソケット(20)とが扁平形状であり、前記脚部(12)は扁平かつ厚み方向に可撓性を有し、前記係合部(14)と前記被係合部(24)とは前記厚み方向に係合され、前記係合部(14)は、前記脚部(12)の幅方向に突出され、かつ前記脚部(12)の厚み範囲内に設置されていることを特徴とするフロントリリースバックル。 - 請求項1に記載のフロントリリースバックルにおいて、
前記プラグ(10)と前記ソケット(20)とが係合されている状態において、前記操作部(27A)と前記係合部(14)とが当接可能に配置され、
前記操作部(27A)は、厚み方向に前記脚部(12)と対向する位置に設けられ、前記厚み方向に可撓性を有し、さらに、前記ソケット(20)内側に凸部(27B)を有することを特徴とするフロントリリースバックル。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載のフロントリリースバックルにおいて、
前記係合部(14)は、前記操作部(27A)側に傾斜面(14A,14C)が設けられた傾斜部(14B,14D)を有し、
前記操作部(27A)が前記係合部(14)側に撓むことで、前記凸部(27B)が前記傾斜面(14A,14C)を押圧することを特徴とするフロントリリースバックル。 - 請求項3に記載のフロントリリースバックルにおいて、
前記傾斜面(14A,14C)の角度が15°であることを特徴とするフロントリリースバックル。 - 請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか一項に記載のフロントリリースバックルにおいて、
前記基部(11)から突起した前記プラグ(10)と前記ソケット(20)とを位置決め保持する一対の保持部(16)を有することを特徴とするフロントリリースバックル。 - 請求項5に記載のフロントリリースバックルにおいて、
前記脚部(12)は、当該脚部(12)の差込方向へ向かうに連れて前記操作部(27A)側へ近接するように斜めに突出していることを特徴とするフロントリリースバックル。
