Definitions
- the connecting part between the applicator and the closure part e.g. can be pronounced as a screw or as a connector.
- the applicator If the applicator is no longer needed, it is sealed airtight with the container. In this case, the container takes on the job organ. Meanwhile, the cavity in which the applicator is located is saturated with molecules of the diluent that escape from the fluid-receiving material (e.g., sponge). The molecules deposit on the applicator, prevent hardening, keep the applicator fresh and make a separate treatment of the applicator with diluents dispensable.

- the sponge Fig. 2-2, Fig. 5-2, Fig. 7-2 should be thoroughly wetted with the same solvent which will be used as solvent in the composition to be applied.
- the bristle portion of the application device (Fig.1-11, Fig.6-11) is inserted or screwed airtight ( Figure 3).
- the size and shape of the container or its mouth (opening) (Fig.2-4, Fig.5-4, Fig.7- 4) should be adapted to the size and shape of the applicator (short or oblong, oval square or cylindrical type).
- the purpose of simple insertion or removal should be the cavity (Fig.2-1, Fig.5-1, Fig.7-1) and its mouth (Fig.2-4, Fig.5-4, Fig.7-4). be a certain degree greater (margin) than the commissioned organ.
- the container receives the applicator of the applicator device ( Figure 3). Because the cavity (Fig.2-1, Fig.5-1, Fig.7-1) in which the application member (Fig.1-11) is located (Fig. 3-11), airtight isolated from outside air and of the If the solvents in the sponge (FIG. 2-2, FIG. 5-2, FIG. 7-2) are saturated, the residues of the application mass smeared on the application member do not harden. The container keeps it fresh, the bristle part supple and suitable for the next use immediately. Such a container (Fig.2, Figure 5, Figure 7) makes a separate treatment of the applicator with diluents, cling film, water, etc. dispensable, the storage and transport of the applicator very easy.
- the purpose of avoiding dehydration of the cavity during use of the applicator should be to open the container of smaller applicators e.g. Text correction pens, glue sticks, with the opposite being applied to any part of its body, e.g. Head end (Fig.6-12), screw it airtight or push it on.
- the larger containers are not attached to the applicator body during use of the applicator, they must have their own simple small but airtight lid tied to them.
- hermetically covering the container during use of the applicator device In order to prevent escape of the molecules of the solvent from the cavity of the container by hermetically covering the container during use of the applicator device.
- the container In the event that you do not attach the container to the body of the applicator or covered with the lid while working with the applicator device, the container should best be placed with its opening side (mouth) on the floor. For this reason, a smooth and even surface is required (Fig.5-3, Fig.7-3) to prevent the escape of the solvent therein, or at least minimized.
