Abstract

　本発明は、表示装置が物流中に落下、転倒した場合でも、ディスプレイパネルの破損を防止する表示装置を提供する。この表示装置は、前面板（２０）と背面板（３０）の周縁部同士を封着部材（３６）によって接合したＰＤＰ（１０）と、ＰＤＰ（１０）を支持するシャーシ部（４４）と、ＰＤＰ（１０）およびシャーシ部（４４）を覆う筐体とを備える。筐体は、開口部（５４）が設けられた前面筐体部（４１）と、側面筐体部（５１）と、背面筐体部（４２）とで構成されている。背面筐体部（４２）には絞り部（６２）が設けられており、この絞り部（６２）の頂上部とシャーシ部（４４）とが固定部材で連結されている。
