Abstract
A wireless communication device is provided with a mounting substrate and an inverted-F antenna. The mounting substrate has a rectangular shape with a ground pattern formed entirely on one surface and a connecting terminal arranged on one short side. The inverted-F antenna is a rectangular solid mounted on the ground pattern with a power feed electrode arranged on the surface. The inverted-F antenna is positioned at the center of the short side of the mounting substrate and is closer to the other short side of the mounting substrate from the center, the power feed electrode is positioned to face the long side of the mounting substrate, and the long side of the inverted-F antenna is arranged parallel to the long side of the mounting substrate.
